Happy Easter! I wanted to share my card for the clean and simple challenge over at The Outlawz. Once again, I used a pre-colored digital image, this one is from Clear Dollar Stamps and is called Tulip Wreath. A quick and easy card (good thing as I was watching The Walking Dead marathon last night while I was making this!!) with no embellishments...unless you consider sewing and dry embossing an embellishment.
Have a wonderful Easter Sunday!

Doodle Pantry
I haven't seen the inside of my stamp room in days, so it felt good to get crafty today. My stress has been almost thru the roof with family stuff, so coloring was not in the cards for me today. Instead, I decided to use a pre-colored image from Doodle Pantry called Li'l Cowkids. Doodle Pantry is sponsoring Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog - for a child with a sentiment.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter. With so much happening here, I totally forgot to get my ham. I'd better get creative for dinner.

Sweet Ladybug
Welcome to our latest sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. It's fun and fabulous so I sure hope you can join in.
We have a new sponsor this week, Paper Addictions. I highly recommend taking a stroll thru the shop, the images are adorable. Our grand prize winner this week will be happy because they will receive any 5 items from Paper Addictions' Etsy shop.
"My name is Jacqueline Mathews and I am a crafter and designer. I love paper, pens, doodling, stamping and above all designing. I have a degree in fine arts with an emphasis in graphic design. I worked in the graphic design industry for many years and quit 15 years ago to become a stay at home mom for my 3 kids. Now that the kids are older and don’t need me as much, I am reinventing myself and have decided that I wanted to create my own line of digital stamps. I have dabbled in rubber stamping and became a “Stampin’ up!” demonstrator and had a blast, but thought it would be more fun to create my own stamps. I decided digital was the way to go. It is affordable for the customer and for the designer. I now have a digital stamp shop on Etsy called “PaperAddictions”. I would love to create my own line of rubber stamps someday, but for now I am testing my designs out in my shop to see if anyone likes them. I am pleasantly surprised that I have gotten a good response to the images I have designed so far. This positive response has motivated me to create more images in the future."
For my card, I was thrilled to work with KatieBug on a Swing. Is she not adorable?!! Play along with us, because this could be one of the items you choose from our wonderful sponsor Paper Addictions.

Thanks a Latte
What a crazy day! Darn near 6" of snow fell, and it's supposed to be spring!!! Snow is in the forecast all the way thru Thursday. I was in the mood to stay inside with a hot cup of tea and some rubber stamps. This is a Fresh Brewed Designs stamp called She Loves Lattes. So perfect because I needed a thank you card and was planning to put a Starbucks gift card inside! I followed the sketch over at Sunday Sketch & Stamp...I always love a good sketch, especially one that lets me use some designer paper scraps. Wishing you a wonderful day!

Spring has Sprung
At least according to the calendar spring has arrived. But as I am typing this post, it's Sunday evening and we're on the edge of our seat waiting for the next dumping of snow. 6 inches is predicted so we'll see. In the meantime, I wanted to share this card featuring the adorable image from Doodle Pantry, the recently released color version of Fuzzy Duckling. I even used one of the digital papers included in this set. This card is a reminder that Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the "Bring on Spring" challenge over at Chocolate, Coffee, and Cards. Other challenges I am submitting this card to include:
The Sweet Stop - sketch
Paper Creator's Crafts - Spring has Sprung
2 Sisters - Easter/Spring
One Stitch as a Time - Use a digi

Shopping My Stash
Welcome to a new CAS challenge over at The Outlawz. This happens to be "National Cleaning Week" so we are challenging you to create a clean and simple card by using something old from your stash. I pulled out an old Gina K Designs stamp set that I'm sad to say has not seen any ink...I decided to change that! I colored the flower with Memento markers that I have and rarely use. Same goes with the washi tape. I need to do this more often, it's fun looking thru my stash!! Now you do the same and join us for our CAS challenge over at The Outlawz.

Stinkin' Cute
That's all I can say about the sweet color version of Cute Critters from Clear Dollar Stamps. This card is for our latest Clearly Inspired Challenge - Anything Goes. Play along, because the more who do, the more prizes that are given away. I pulled out some scraps to create my card, the striped paper being digital paper from the set I used for our blog hop, Corvette. The colors couldn't have been more perfect for this stinkin' cute skunk.
Enjoy your weekend! After all, IT'S FRIDAY!!!

Hello
No one is more surprised than I that I got a card done for the Catch the Bug challenge this week!! It's time for a little Bingo - I went with the Bugaboo image, Flower, and Circle.
Here's my card, using the sweet Edward Elephant Hello. I can't help but smile when I see him. My little felt flower was found on my desk, I simply added a pearl. As for the circle, I went with my favorite circle embossing folder! That might be a stretch, but it's my story and I'm stickin' to it!!!

Hi Chick
Hello one and all. So raise your hand if you're tired of snow and oh so ready for spring!! Nasty wintry mix yesterday, made for some wicked driving. I'm so ready for spring, and with spring comes Easter. Today I'm sharing a card using a Fresh Brewed Designs image called Peekaboo Chick. I love that little chick peeking out to say "hello." I thought I would send this to one of my nieces, they'd get a kick out of it.
Saturday my stove went out. I barely was able to get dinner cooked before it said good-bye. Today the new one was installed and was tested out for dinner...and passed with flying colors! Unfortunately, getting take out for dinner didn't last very long - at least not to my liking!!!!

Cool Ride
This is my second blog this weekend, for Clear Dollar Stamps. For my Fresh Brewed Designs blog hop post, please go HERE.
I'm hoping you came here from Kathy's blog because you would then be on the right track. If not, head back to the beginning to the CDS blog, Clearly iStamp. Our theme for this month's blog hop is "Spring Cleaning." We were to use something from our stash. I actually have several items - the ribbon, the fun white button brads, and, believe it or not, my image and digital paper. I had printed this off quite some time ago. When I found it, I figured how perfect this would be for the challenge!! And how would you like this set for your very own? It's called Corvette and is up for grabs for one lucky commenter on my blog!!! Please leave your email address along with your comment and I will announce on Thursday the lucky winner. As a matter of fact, comment on all the participating DT members' blogs for a chance to win the set they used on their cards. How fun!!!!
Now I'm the last stop on the hop, I sure hope you enjoyed it. Hope you have a chance to get creative this week and shop your stash.

For a Friend
If you're looking for my Fresh Brewed Designs Blog Hop post, please go HERE. Otherwise, stay here and find out about our newest Clean and Simple challenge over at The Outlawz. Actually, this is my challenge...and I totally goofed it up!!! But the fact that it's after 1am right now, I'm not remaking this card. Happy St. Patrick's Day! Green is our challenge theme this week plus ONE neutral. Yep, that's where I goofed. Who knew black and white were each a neutral??!! Only the whole wide world I think! I did get to play with my new stamp set from the March stamp kit from Simon Says Stamp - Flower Friend. One little black rhinestone in the center of the flower is my only embellishment. Quick and easy and ready to drop in the mail. Now I hope you get to join us at The Outlawz for our CAS challenge, green + one neutral.

CDS March Release
Welcome to the March digital release at Clear Dollar Stamps. I have two sets to share with you. First up is what I can't wait to say - Hello Spring. Just this morning a bird flew by the window with a big twig in it's beak. And so the circle of life continues. Because of my love for birds, I simply had to create with this pre-colored image of a sweet bluebird.
Next is the stunning set Cross Messages. Now I really must point out that this set contains 33 digital images (13 images and 20 sentiments) as well as 3 digital papers, all for the low, low price of $4!!! I used one of the colored images and merged in my sentiments. I also pulled out an old Basic Grey paper pack in hopes of using up my stash...good luck with that!!!
Now to get a look at all the sets being released, check out the CDS blog, Clearly iStamp. And while you're there, read about our latest Clearly Inspired Challenge going on, use die cuts. There are prizes up for grabs!

Good Luck
Hello Wednesday, I'm so glad Monday and Tuesday are over!! Wednesday means I get to share a fun card I've created using this adorable Fresh Brewed Designs digital image called Good Luck. A simple card to create and oh so quick and easy too. I didn't want to go overboard with the green, so I was happy to find this designer paper in my stash made up of the blues, yellow, rusty reds too. Perfect.
I wanted to remind you of our rubber stamp release and blog hop this weekend starting on Saturday. It's sure gonna be sweet!!!!

Soak up the Sun!
I sure am looking forward to that, lots of sunshine. I even started longing for our summer vacation at the beach. We have our house rented for the week, we're going over the 4th of July again. I can't wait!! I used the beach as my inspiration for today's project to let you know about the month long challenge over at the Fresh Brewed Blog - Accordion fold card AND/OR Paper piecing. I used two rubber stamps from Fresh Brewed Designs, both from the Summer Fun collection. On the front cover of my project is the Palm Tree and Sand Castle (from the Beach Accessories), both paper pieced.
And here is the inside, I filled it with three beach photos from a vacation many years ago. My how the boys look so little!!! They are 17 and 14 now!!! YIKES, how did that happen. Anyway, I also used Sunbathing Beach Babe and paper pieced her bathing suit. Now the directions called for the front and back covers to be made using chip board which, of course, I didn't have. So I simply die cut and adhered together four layers of card stock. It works just fine. Plan on joining us at the Fresh Brewed Blog for our month long challenge.

Happy Holidays
No, you're seeing correctly, I've made a Christmas card for our Clean and Simple challenge over at The Outlawz. This week, we want to see a CAS project with a die cut on it. I actually used 3 different dies - the sentiment, the deer, and the snow hill. While I was using my Big Shot, I also used an embossing folder - love the look of snow on it. I'll be making a few more of these to submit for the Christmas Card Challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers too. Now let's see your clean and simple side because we think you are "die-nimite!!"

OUCH!
I just found out that our neighbor went in for an emergency appendectomy so I wanted to make a quick card to cheer her up. My image, sentiment and papers are all from Doodle Pantry. First is the adorable Oh My Ant, the color version. I merged him with digital paper from the freebie BandAid along with the sentiment. Then I took the bandaid, made it really, really small, rotated it, and "placed" it on the ant. Too cute if I may say so! The paper on the bottom layer is also from the Bandaid set. I'm hoping this will bring a smile to her face!! Enjoy what's left of your weekend and don't forget to turn the clocks ahead, daylight savings time is upon us.

A Little Wave Hello
It's Friday...HOORAY!!! I am so out of sorts this week that I am so looking forward to the weekend. And we have a new Clearly Inspired Challenge to get you in a crafty mood. Our theme for the next two weeks is to die for...yep, you guessed it, use a die cut on your project. For my card, I used the featured digi set, Little Octopus. Of course I used the color version because I loved the bright happy colors. My two strips of paper are digital papers also included in this set. I used two nesties for my die cuts - I'm getting into the white on white for the main image, so crisp and clean. This was a quick card to make, so now it just needs in the mail with a quick note inside. I hope you can join us for our latest Clearly Inspired Challenge, it's to "die" for!!!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday
Raise your hand if you're tired of being sick --- I have both of mine up! Last evening I started feeling icky again and decided to simply lay down. Needless to say, I never got up to schedule my blog post!! And when I looked out the window this morning, what a surprise, darn near 10 inches of new snow was on the ground with more to come!! So what do you think of our latest and greatest sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday? It's definitely fun and fabulous!!
Our sponsor this week is Mary Ellen from Dearie Dolls. Check out her site as she offers her digis FREE for everyone to enjoy. So why not find a cutie to use on our sketch this week!!
I have always been a crafter and a stay at home mom that was able to make enough on handmades to help out and still be there for my kids who are all grown now. I have six grandchildren ranging in age from six months up to ten years. I started to draw digis about a year and a half ago. I like to write poetry and have illustrated some of my children's poems.
My digi blog is a place for card makers and others to download free images. I like to tell a little story with most digis and feel that the innocence of children is full of color, imagination and humor and so most of my artwork is a reflection of that. I truly hope that everyone that visits can find something useful and fun.
Prize: Instant Gratification of freebie Dearie Doll images for everyone!!! Please be sure to leave Mary Ellen a sweet comment and let her know you found Dearie Dolls from SSW.
Here's my card, using the pre-colored image Cowboy. I used a My Favorite Things pennant die that also included the little alphabet to spell "miss u." A perfect card to include in my box for OWH. Now scoop up your Dearie Doll image, leave a comment, and join us at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

Hoppy Mail
I am hopping by to say hi! After all, it has been what seems like forever since I created something. Being sick is no fun, and it has really drained me physically and creatively. But I did want to show you a fun new digi from Fresh Brewed Designs called Hoppy Mail Bunny. And what's really wonderful are the three sentiments that come with this darling image. More scrap designer paper has been used on this one, along with following a previous OWH sketch, #161 to be exact. Now I know I am majorly sleep deprived (coughing fits keep me awake), but do me a favor...click on my card to enlarge and check out the sparkly heart. Do you see on the right side what looks like two shiny eyes looking right at you? Spooky, isn't it?!! I actually wiped my computer screen, thinking it was something on it!!! Funny what the light will pick up...and what your very tired eyes will see!!!!

Happy Birthday to You
Thanks for stopping by. I have been sick for darn near a week now and last night was the first I've been in my room stamping for quite some time. The clean and simple challenge over at The Outlawz is "You Have us in Stitches." We're asking you to use some form of stitching, faux or real, on your clean and simple card. I needed a birthday for my sister-in-law so here it is. I did some fun wonky stitching with my machine and even carried the sewing theme thru with the dress form and button die cut. Enjoy your day, I sure wish it was warmer and all the snow would go away! I WANT SUMMER!!!
