Sweet Wednesday

You would think Wednesdays don't simply come after Tuesdays the way I'm always scrambling to get my card and post done for Sweet Sketch Wednesday!!! I think in my mind it seems so far away in the week when BOOM, here it is Wednesday morning when I wake with a start realizing I hadn't posted to my blog!! Will I ever learn?! All I can say is I hope you can join us for a "blast from the past" sketch, it's a goodie.

Digi Stamp Boutique is our sponsor this week. Thanks Sally Ann for your generosity and continued support of Sweet Sketch Wednesday. The winner will receive 6 free digis of their choosing.

"All images/designs are created and copyright owned by Sally-Ann Hancock. My work means the world to me - it allows my passion to draw and create, to fit with my family life too - often the inspiration for my designs. Hope you enjoy as much as I enjoy creating."

Here's my card, using the lovely Flowers in Water. I really don't understand it, but I used purple yet again on a card. And I really don't like purple yet it seemed so right!!! The sentiment is from Doodle Pantry, the So Thankful Sentiments set. Do join us this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday, we always look forward to what you create.

You Warm my Heart Ken!!

As you may know, June is Digi Month at Fresh Brewed Designs. And every Monday this month we have a new digi to share. Yesterday Ken was released in all his hunky glory!!! A quick and simple card to make...well it would have been had I turned off the TV and concentrated on getting it done!!! I hate when I allow myself to become so easily distracted, but reruns of "Friends" is so funny I can't help myself!!!

I hope you have a wonderful day today. Mine is going to be crazy busy, but at least that means it will go by fast! Thanks for stopping by.

Keep Calm and Love Cows

Welcome to our monthly blog hop for Clearly Digi Stamps. I hope you arrived here from Kathy's blog; if not, go back to the beginning at Clearly iStamp.

Our theme - Keep Calm and _______. Let me tell you, the options are endless for filling in that blank, but I went with Keep Calm and Love Cows. Why you ask? Because I had the Clearly Digi Stamps image already printed for another project and decided to use it here!!!

The digi set used is called Cow are You and can be found HERE. Of course I used the color version since time is always a factor for me! How would you like to win this set? Be sure and leave a comment and I will choose one winner from the comments received to win just that. Now I'm the last stop on our very short blog hop for this month so be sure and leave comments on ALL the design team members' blogs for the chance to win the digi set they used. HOW FUN!!!

Winners will be announced and contacted on Thursday, so be sure and leave your email address so I have a way of getting in touch with you.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day! We'll be celebrating another day since our son is on his trip to Italy - lucky duck! But we wanted to stand up cheer for the men in our lives over at The Outlawz. So for our Clean & Simple Challenge, any masculine theme will do. I used a Doodle Pantry image called Hotrod Pickup. This set was recently colorized so of course I had to use it!!!! It will take a very special someone who understands my sense of humor to not be insulted by "You're a Classic!" That is digital paper I used too from the set, adding a bit of ribbon and two brads to finish up this clean, simple, quick & easy card. Hope you can play along with us at The Outlawz.

Clearly Digi Stamps June Release

I hope you've had a chance to go shopping at Clearly Digi Stamps. The new store is so fresh and new and oh so tempting!! Don't forget about the freebies this month, every Sunday and Thursday.

Today is our monthly digital release and, as always, it's marvelous. My first card showcases the new set by Laurie Wilson called Aloha. I love, love, love this digital paper that's included in the set...so much so that was the only designer papers I used! I merged two images together for my focal point, both of them the color version. This screams the tropics!

Next is my card for Deedee Anderson's set Way to Go. I plan to give this to my youngest son after his baseball season is over. I know I talked about the league he's involved in called The Miracle League, created so special needs children and adults can enjoy playing America's pastime. He loves playing catch with his new friend at summer camp and I know it's from all the time spent with him tossing and catching during his baseball games. He's my superstar!!!

Check out all the new sets and fabulous design team creations at Clearly iStamp. And be sure to load up your cart so you can start creating with them at Clearly Digi Stamps.

Come back tomorrow for our monthly blog hop. Be sure and leave comments along the way and you could win the digital stamp set used by that DT member. How exciting!!!

A Sun-Shiny Day

This  next two weeks, Doodle Pantry is sponsoring Send A Smile 4 Kids Challenge Blog. Their challenge, For the Girls. I love this Doodle Pantry image, Hot Air Balloon Birdie. As soon as I read that sentiment, I knew I wanted to add a sunny die I cut out and ran thru an embossing folder. Love the scallops, helps to make it girlie I think. It's so funny how hard girl themed cards are for me. Guess having two boys (oops, guess I should include hubby in that number so it should be 3) is a big influence on my card making! Join the gang over at Send a Smile 4 Kids for a chance at winning some Doodle Pantry images...you'll be glad you did!

Sweet Giraffes

Happy Wednesday! Time to share our latest sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. Another glorious one, great for pulling out those designer papers that we all love to hoard!!!

And we have a new sponsor this week, Stamp N Doodle.

I started Stamp-n-doodle with rubber images about 6 years ago and have expanded into Clipart, Digital images, and scrapbooking. I am am also an exclusive designer for cards, etc. on Craftsuprint. Stamp-n-doodle is an online only digital/rubber stamp, scrapbooking, & clipart web store along with our challenge Blog (Blog-a-doodle). Whether you only want to create on your computer or combine your creations with traditional items, Stamp-n-doodle has it all.

One lucky winner will receive 2 images of their choice from Stamp N Doodle.

And here's my card, using the adorable Momma & Baby Giraffe. I actually printed this image out in sepia tones then used my Copic markers to color it in. The papers are from a safari pack that I've had for years and have just now used something out of it. Yes, a paper hoarder am I!!! Hahaha! I sure hope you can join us this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
