A Walk Down Memory Lane

Imagine That Digistamp is celebrating its 4th birthday...Happy Birthday!!!!! We're taking a walk down memory lane at the Creative Playground. I became a full time DT member in August of 2015 after two rounds of summer guest designing. This is my first official card, using the sweet Ice Cream Boy and Ice Cream Sentiments sets.

We were then challenged to create a card using our favorite Imagine That Digistamp set. Let me tell you, that was a challenge, narrowing it down to just one!!! I went with one of my top 3 (sticking with the ice cream theme!!!) Ice Cream Parlour and Ice Cream Sentiments. As you know, I LOVE pre-colored digis and this one is fabulous!! I'm really drawn to a color palette of black/white plus one other color too.

Be sure and check out other DT members' walk down memory lane over at the Creative Playground. Leave a comment on any of the four posts stating your favorite set for a chance to win it!! You have until Friday, the 24th to leave your comment.

Just Because

It's time for a new challenge at Catch the Bug, and this week we're playing Bingo!! Fun, fun, fun!!

I went with the third row down - Bugaboo image (Kitty Tower Fun), Flower and Stripes. I let the image and papers help me out with the flowers and stripes. A fun card to mail, just because. Now I hope you can join us for some Bingo fun at Catch the Bug.

Hello and Happy National Pie Day. Okay, okay, I know I'm a day late, but shouldn't we celebrate pie everyday?!!! Happy Birthday to You

Here's our latest sketch for you to try at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

And here's my card, one that I'm not overly thrilled with. It's amazing how a little additional stress in your life can affect your creativity!!! The stamp and die sets (Bring on the Cake, Birthday Journal Card Die, and HB2U) I used are by Sugar Pea Designs and can be found at the Catherine Pooler store. I used inks by Catherine Pooler also...and they are amazing!!!!! The background die is the Peek-a-Boo Polka Dots by My Favorite Things. Now I hope you can join us this week for this fun and fabulous sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

2 for the Price of 1

Welcome to the latest Clean & Simple challenge at The Outlawz. This week our theme is flowers. I've been having trouble getting into my stamp room so I knew it had to be quick and easy too. I started out stamping the old Stampin' Up background stamp with Versamark ink on rose cardstock and clear heat embossing. I then cut it on the diagonal and adhered it onto a white panel that I stamped the same background using pink ink. I then white heat embossed my sentiment and finished this up with some black brads and popping it up with fun foam onto a white card base.

This design allowed me to make two cards for the price of one!! How fabulous!!!!! Might have to make more but in different colors! Now it's your turn to show us your clean and simple flower card over at The Outlawz.

Challenges I'm entering are:
Cardz 4 Galz - Name your powder
Craft Rocket - No pattern paper
Cute Card Thursday - For Mother/Ladies
DL. ART - Flowers
Star Stampz - Monochromatic
Southern Girls - Pop it up with foam

Happy Christmas

I'm going to make this post short and sweet. The hockey game just started (I'm a big Pittsburgh Penguins fan) so I'm off to watch. I did sneak in a card following the sketch over at From the Heart Blog

I stumbled with this sketch at first, then I pulled out some of those adorable snowmen at From the Heart and went to it!! This cutie comes from the Little Snowman set. I felt bad chopping him in half when I die cut out the circle, but that's what fit the sketch. One more Christmas card completed!!
