Way to Go!!

Went to a graduation party yesterday. It was fun seeing people I haven't seen in years and catching up. This is the card I made for the grad, using an image from Bugaboo, AKV Girl Grad. Yes, her school colors are black and gold. I cut the image out with my Scan N Cut...I'm really lovin' that thing!! The sentiment is from Paper Smooches, Sentiment Sampler. And I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday. Loved that I could use some of my washi tape!!

This week at Catch the Bug we have a great color challenge for you. First of all, give me a minute while I take in the picture above...reminds me of the beach. Now I can't wait for our vacation!!! Anyway, the colors are great, love the blue greens.

And here's my card for this challenge. Once again I cut out the Bugaboo image (Kawaii Kitty Fish)  with my Scan N Cut. I colored him up with copic markers then added some shimmer with my wink of stella pen to the water in the fish bowl. Quick and easy, my kind of card. I sure hope you can join us this week at Catch the Bug for our fabulous color challenge.

Happy Father's Day

Boy did I goof, today is Father's Day and I never mailed out a card for my FIL. YIKES!! I just can't seem to get it together lately!!! Anyway, I'm sharing a card I made for our Masculine Challenge over the CAS group at The Outlawz. I sponged on some distress ink and added some water droplets for the background then stamped the trees from Paper Trey Ink (Through the Trees). I'm not sure I like the colors I used but there was no "do over" with this card since it was late and I was very tired. I sure hope you'll join us at The Outlawz for our clean and simple masculine challenge.

Hey Chickie

Time to play a little bingo this week over at Catch the Bug. So many fun possibilities to pick from!

I went with the middle row across - Ribbon, Animal, Player's Choice. My animal is the fabulous Hey Chickie Colored from Bugaboo, the ribbon is linen thread, and my "choice" was three layers of pattern paper scraps and brads. I simple love the expression on this chick's face...too funny! And being the color version helped me make this card up lickety split quick! Sure hope you can join us this week for some Bingo fun at Catch the Bug.

It's Humor Me Wednesday at Catch the Bug and I have a fun card to share. I'm celebrating Work@Home Father's Day in a humorous way! For a good giggle, I had to look no further than Gus from Bugaboo. I must admit, I gave a little snort with the sentiment on this one!!! This image is Stella and Gus Tidbits - WTF. Yep, that's glossy accents on his glasses. Be sure and check out what other members of the Bugaboo DT did for today's Humor Me Wednesday over at Catch the Bug.

Hello Gorgeous

I know, no one is more shocked than I that I made a card using purple!! This is for the Clean & Simple challenge over at The Outlawz. Our theme this week is "Diamonds and Pearls." My diamonds are from the stamp set Hello Gorgeous by Ellen Hutson. I started out by sponging on two lilac inks then embossed the gems. The pearls gave a little pizzazz to the sentiment banner. Quick and easy for sure.

Stella Says Sketch

We have a new Stella Says Sketch over at Catch the Bug for the month of June. Fun and fabulous, that's how I would describe it!!

And here is my card, using from Bugaboo the wonderful Sketchy Rose Circle image. This image was a breeze to color, good thing for me!!! And I pulled out some papers that I had on my desk from a kit I bought ages ago and still have lots of stuff to use! You know what I'm talking about, don't you?!!! Join us this month for our latest Stella Says Sketch over at Catch the Bug.

Just For You

I'm a sucker for seashell stamps and certainly couldn't pass these up from Paper Trey Ink. They are called Simple Seashells and come with coordinating dies. My card is for our Summer Themed CAS challenge over at The Outlawz. I love the multi-step stamping with this set. I then paired it with the Sand Swatch  and Just for You Mini Sets also from Paper Trey Ink. Nothing says summer to me more than the beach!! Why don't you join us at The Outlawz and share your summery CAS cards.

What a Week!!!

What a week indeed!!! They say bad things come in 3' of which was a tree falling into the house!!! And that was only the 2nd bad thing from this week. We're walking on egg shells waiting for what's next!! Luckily the deck took most of it so no major damage, just lots of work getting the thing cut up into manageable pieces to move it.

Today I'm sharing a card for the Anything Goes challenge going on this week at Catch the Bug. I used the Bugaboo image JJ - Coffee To Go and the sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. The sentiment says it all!!!!!

Hope you can join us this week at Catch the Bug for our Anything Goes challenge.

Our new monthly challenge has started over at the Imagine That blog, Creative Playground. We're playing a little tic tac toe this month!

For my card, I used the middle column of sentiment, pattern paper and twine along with the adorable Leesa's Swing set by Imagine That. I also followed the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Now I hope you can join us for some Tic Tac Toe fun over at the Creative Playground.

Aloha did you get here so fast?!!! I'm happy to see you though because it means summer, sun, and our beach vacation is getting closer! The first of June also means a new Ants in my Pantry Digital Challenge over at the Doodle Pantry Blog. For my card I used the Doodle Pantry set Aloha. I merged a few of the images together as well as used one of the digital papers for a fun tropical card. Now if this doesn't make you long for the sand and surf, I don't know what will!!! Hahahaha!
