Time for Tea

I have quite the collection of digital images and papers that I have printed off but never used on a project. I am determined to use a lot of these images so I can one day say that the pile is getting smaller!!!! Well here's one image and sentiment from that collection, Floral Tea Set by Imagine That. And, believe it or not, I also pulled this piece of scrap pattern paper from yet another pile I have that keeps growing! I've come to the conclusion that I will never have to buy pattern paper ever again, I have that much in pads and scraps!!! The only problem is, that will never happen!!! Hahahaha!!

Sure hope you have a tea-rrific day! The awning was put up this morning on our deck, a sure sign that summer is not far behind!

A Happy Hello

Happy Wednesday! Spring break is now over and everyone's back to work or school...right where they should be!!! And it's time for a new challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday

My dear friend Heather from Fresh Brewed Designs is our sponsor for this two week challenge. If you're a coffee-holic, you'll love the fun and fabulous images she has in her shop!

I couldn't resist using a rubber stamp from Fresh Brewed Designs called Love Mug, just like I can't resist a hot cup of coffee and yummy cupcake!!! Fresh Brewed Designs no longer sells rubber stamps, however, if you are interested in this one, please email Heather regarding it - I sure hope you can join us over the next two weeks at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

Stella Says Sketch

What do you think of Stella's latest sketch? Yep, I love it too!! Read all about it over at Catch the Bug

Here's my card using that sketch only I flipped it because I simply had to use this sweetie of a Bugaboo image, Cute Bee - Flower. I poked around my scrap pile to find the perfect three papers and honestly love the combination. Now let's see your take on Stella's sketch! Be sure and share it with us at Catch the Bug.

Wishing You Sunshine

We're thinking spring this week in the CAS group over at The Outlawz. Springtime brings to mind the saying April showers bring May flowers. The pattern paper is from our sponsor, Decosse's Dynamite Doodles. It's called Raindrops and comes in a digital paper pack called Rainy Days. I then used Scattered Showers stamp set and die from Paper Trey Ink, popping it up over some silver thread. The sentiment is heat embossed using Versamark and white embossing powder. Quick, easy and fun. Sure hope you can join our clean and simple springtime challenge over at The Outlawz.

Just a Note...

Awwww, would you look at this sweet photo!!! This is your inspiration for our challenge this week at Catch the Bug.

The daffodils were my inspiration for my card. I used the Bugaboo image Flower Water Cans - Daffodil Can. Then I just stuck with yellow for my glitter brads and scrap of pattern paper. My daffodils are in bloom right now...might have to cut a few to brighten the house up a little bit inside. Sure hope you can join us for our photo inspiration challenge at Catch the Bug.

Hello spring!!!! It warmed up more than forecasted today so I'm glad I had done some laundry and hung it's already dry, folded, and almost put away!!! I wanted to share my card that I made using the sweet image Leesa's Tulip from Imagine That. Isn't she adorable?!!! I used two of the digital papers that come in the set too. Anything Goes Challenge Reminder

We have an Anything Goes challenge going on at the Fresh Brewed Blog but only until tomorrow. Be sure and get your projects linked for your chance to win a fun Fresh Brewed Designs image, Cutie Bug With Watermelon. For my card, I couldn't resist using the adorable Lil Sweetie Spring Flowers image. The soft color combo of lavender, peach and pink is way out of my comfort zone but it certainly works for spring. Not that I'm seeing spring outside with the ground covered in snow from overnight!!! Just when I was about to put away the ice scraper from the car and hang up our winter coats!! I think I jinxed myself!!! Hope to see you at the Fresh Brewed Blog for our anything goes challenge.

National Goof Off Day

That's right, there's a day set aside that you can simply goof off!!!! Well I hope you goof off in your stamp room because our CAS challenge over at The Outlawz this week is Anything Goes. I got real goofy for goof off day and made a Christmas card! The pattern paper is from our sponsor, Decosse's Dynamite Doodles called Merry Christmas Trees. My sentiment is from a Hero Arts set and I used the enamel dots to help cover up a mistake. That's what embellishments are for after all!! Sure hope you can join us this week for our anything goes challenge at The Outlawz.

CAS Thinking of You

Phillip is back to school, spring break was just what he needed. Now Mom needs a break from all the extra cooking and laundry!!! Hahahaha! I forgot to post this card yesterday for our Nature AND Green clean and simple challenge going on this week at The Outlawz. I die cut the fern (from Memory Box) 3 times then glued them all together. I love the added dimension this gives. Quick, easy, clean & simple all wrapped up into one card.

Talk about adorable!!! And can you believe I used mostly purple on this?!!! Purple is definitely NOT a favorite color of mine, I actually struggle to put it on a card. But for some reason it seemed right for this one! Join us over at the Fresh Brewed Blog for our Easter challenge.

Bright & Cheery

With Phillip being home this week on spring break, I've been having a hard time getting into my craft room to create. Going grocery shopping, cooking and doing laundry can do that to ya!! Anyway, I got this card done last minute for the new Saturday challenge over at Catch the Bug - Bright & Cheery. I used a mini Bugaboo set called Cute Fruit Blocks. It's hard to pick up on camera but I used my wink of Stella pen on each fruit for that fun sparkly touch. Sure hope you can join us at Catch the Bug for our Bright & Cheery challenge.
