A Friend and A Triple Challenge
WooHoo, I got a card done today!! After two loads of laundry, changing the sheets on the beds (one of the big reasons for all that extra laundry!!), taking care of some phone calls and weeding, I'm surprised I'm still standing!! Anyway, like I said, this card covers three challenges -- Just For Fun Color Challenge of Blue, Green and Orange, Sentimental Sundays for the someone special, and Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge. I usually try to keep it to two challenges, but this one fell right into place with the three! My colors are Chocolate chip, Olive green, Bashful blue, and Pumpkin pie. The stamp set is by Gina K Designs called Tree Silhouettes. I stamped the trees onto watercolor paper with Memento rich cocoa ink then used a wet sponge to apply the green, blue and caramel inks. I came back with a dry sponged inked up in the same green and blue and hit the colors again for some added visual texture. The rhinestones didn't come out true to color on the picture, they are by Kaiser Crafts and are orange. Thanks for stopping by. Have yourself a great weekend.
