Look at this fun bundle of goodies, and to be eligible to win this yummy candy, all you need to do is create a new project using a Fresh Brewed Designs image and link it HERE. You can enter up to 3 projects and you must post candy badge on your sidebar linking it back to the Fresh Brewed Blog and add this blog candy photo in each post with your card with a link back to THIS POST

I used the Fresh Brewed Designs rubber stamp A Gift for You, paper piecing the present and coloring in the bow with copics. I'll be popping this in the mail tomorrow for my sister-in-law's birthday. For once I'm sending out a card ahead of schedule!! Be sure and join us for our Blog Candy Challenge at the Fresh Brewed Blog.

Monochromatic Twist

Time for some fun at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. Since it's the last Wednesday of the month (how did that happen?!), you get to choose your favorite sketch PLUS add a twist. This week the twist is monochromatic. Here's the sketch I went with.

And our sponsor this week is Heather Ellis. Here's a link to her Etsy shop too. I suggest taking a moment to look thru her store...you're gonna want one of everything!!! Or maybe that was just me!!

And here's my card using the adorable Pure Innocence 015. I remember as a kid loving to take bubble baths. I'm a shower girl now, needing the hard spray in the morning to wake me up! I added some sparkle to her bubbles, just for fun. Sure hope you can join us at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 for some monochromatic fun.

Reindeer

It's Tuesday...and time for a new challenge theme over at Holly Jolly Christmas - Reindeer. Our sponsor is Meljen's Designs and I was thrilled to be able to work with Cupid. I wanted to keep with the "love" theme so I figured a few hugs and kisses in the form of XO stickers would work just fine. All paper supplies are from a monthly card kit at Simon Says Stamps. Join us this week and show off your fun and favorite reindeer themed card at Holly Jolly Christmas.

Boo Boo Birdie

Doodle Pantry is sponsoring Cupcake Inspirations this week, providing the winner with a prize of three images. Here is the inspiration cupcake to use in the creation of your project.

The blue birds did it for me!! For my card I used the Doodle Pantry set Boo-boo Birdie & Ants. I stamped the background and die cut the sentiment. I cut out a second cloud talk bubble from black and off set the sentiment on top of it. So quick to create, using the color version sure does help!! Join them at Cupcake Inspirations for a chance at winning some Doodle Pantry images of your very own!

Beautiful Day

Yes, this is my second post for today. I have some challenges that are ending today so I wanted to get this up. My image, sentiment and papers are all from a Doodle Pantry set released this month called New Butterfly. I needed something bright and beautiful as our days have been so cold and gloomy this VERY long winter.

Here are the challenges I'd like to submit my card to:
Tuesday Morning Sketches - sketch
Digi Galore - things with wings
Challenges and Candies - spring around the corner
Totally Paper Crafts - spring
4 Crafty Chicks - things with wings
Digistamps 4 Joy - punches or die cuts

Clean and Simply Flowers

Flowers is the theme this week for our Clean & Simple Challenge over at The Outlawz. I've been doing some actual "inking up rubber stamps" stamping and having a blast. The stamps I used here are from PaperTrey Ink...Green Thumb. Once I got my card made, I realized I went with more fall colors, but I'm likin' it anyway! Simple and ready for mailing.

Thinking of You

Last night after work the house was quiet...a perfect time to slip into my craft room and stamp something, just for fun. I pulled out the latest card kit from Simon Says Stamp and made a VERY simple card. It was just what I needed to do to clear my head so I could get to sleep. Now I have to finish up with some laundry then head off to work. Busy, busy, busy.

Blog Candy Alert

We have another challenge happening over at the Fresh Brewed Blog, and the above blog candy is the prize. Read all the details HERE. You must follow the rules to be eligible to win, and here they are:

  RULES / REQUIREMENTS TO WIN

For each entry,  you must:
**Create a NEW card using an FBD image (Digi or Rubber Stamp from Fresh Brewed Designs).
**
Can enter up to 3 times each.

**MUST post CANDY badge on your sidebar (at the top) linking back to Freshly Brewed Challenges and add this blog candy photo in EACH post with your card with a link back to this post.

I decided to make a card to show off one of the MANY wonderful digital images you can find at Fresh Brewed Designs. This one is called April Swings. With winter here in the northeast showing no signs of going away, I had to make a fun, bright, summery card. It's fun because of her bright pink hair and yellow dress. "Keep Smiling," I guess that's all we can do cause complaining sure doesn't help!! It's just getting harder shoveling the snow, there's nowhere to put it! The piles along the sidewalk and driveway are so high I can't throw the shovel full of snow up and over it anymore!! Now that's bad!

Sweet Love

This continues to be a very busy week at work, so I'm going to make this a quick post. But first let me say welcome to another new challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. We're so happy to see all of you joining us! Here is this week's sketch, another fabulous one if I may say.

Speaking of fabulous, our sponsor, Digi Stamp Boutique, is just that. Owner and artist Sally Ann continues to be so generous, sponsoring us each and every month. She puts up for grabs a £10 gift certificate each month for our winner to her store.

She also provides the design team with images to create with. I simply had to have this cutie from the Cute Chicklets Love Collection.  I thought it would make a perfect anniversary card. I never seem to have any on hand when I need them...and now I do! Sure hope you can join us this week and try out our sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

I'm submitting this card to the Digi Stamp Boutique February Customer Competition - use a Digi Stamp Boutique image.

Snow Much Fun

It's Tuesday so it's time for a new Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge. This one is right up my alley...Snow Much Fun!! So of course that means I'm using a snowman image!! This one is from our sponsor this week, Fitztown. He comes from the Winter 1 collection of adorable snowmen images. I used supplies from the Warm Holiday Wishes card kit from Simon Says Stamp. My sentiment comes from the stamp set also included in this kit, Big Holiday Wishes. Sure hope you can join us this week for our Snow Much Fun challenge at Holly Jolly Christmas.

What's Up Chick

Doodle Pantry is sponsoring Sentimental Sundays this week. Their theme is to use a punch or die cut along with a sentiment. I couldn't wait to use this cutie from the recently released Easter Peeps set. You could receive this set absolutely free just by playing along in our Doodle Pantry Digital Challenge and using a Doodle Pantry image. Check out all the details HERE. The die cuts I used were the stars, circle and scallop circle. Fun and fast! I worked on this while watching The Walking Dead, one of my favorite shows!!

Just a Note

It's time for a new clean and simple challenge over at The Outlawz. It's also my turn to host - I have a confession to make, I am so sick and tired of all the red and pink for Valentines Day. This challenge this week is to make a CAS project using black and white ONLY!! Not as easy as it sounds, I kept want to add a little layer or embellishment of red to this card!!! I used a Paper Smooches set called Beboppin. I ended up making both the notes layer and sentiment several times...kept getting ink on my fingers and smearing it around. How frustrating!! Anyway, it's done and already in the mail for my nephew-in-law for releasing his second album. So cool!

Deedee's Digi of the Month Challenge

I wanted to share with you a card I made for another monthly progressive challenge I found over at Deedee's Digis. Such a sweet digi set that you can purchase HERE. Create a project using it and you will receive next month's set free! How fun!! I stamped the background piece using a Simon Says Stamp set from this month's card kit Thinking of You. I used distress inks and watercolor paper, spraying the paper with water once I was done stamping. My initial plan was to have the entire background be my stamped layer, but the ink puddled when I sprayed it leaving a big blob of muddy color. I cut that portion out and ended up with this strip which I liked much better, just subtle runs of color. Always experimenting but never coming up with the results I want first time around. Guess that's part of the creative process.

Merry Christmas Dragon

I'm participating in the progressive Christmas Challenge over at Digi Stamps 4 Joy. Because I played along last month, I received this adorable little dragon for free! And here's the card I created using him. As always anymore, I've kept it simple. I recently got a new snowflake embossing folder so I had to put it to use. Quick and easy, what every card should be in my book!!! Can't wait to see what next month's image will be!

Sweet Hearts

It's Wednesday, so time to show off our latest and greatest sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. It's a great one, that's for sure and you have the option to use a hexagon or circle for the shape.

And as always, we have another great sponsor...Pattie's Creations Digital Stamps. Take a moment and check out all her wonderfully fun images, you won't be disappointed.

I know I was certainly thrilled to be able to create with this image, Candy Hearts Jar. And oh so perfect for Valentines Day! I found some scrap paper and from my stash these rhinestone hearts. Didn't even remember that I had them!! Guess it's time for a bit of a clean out of the stash! Stay warm and join us at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

Christmas Card for a Child

It's Tuesday, and that means a new challenge at the Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge blog. This week we're looking for a Christmas card for a child. Our sponsor is The Stamping Boutique and I used their adorable Bring it on Snowman. A snowman image is right up my alley and perfect for saying Merry Christmas to a child. I hope you can join us this week at the Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge for our card for a child challenge.

Fresh Brewed Blog Hop

OH MY!!! I'VE CAUGHT A BUG!!!
Don't you worry, you'll want to catch it too!

It's time to check out Fresh Brewed Designs New Digital Stamps for February.
There are 5 new images being released today, but you will have to  HOP in full to see them all!

If you are arriving here from Lori's blog, Stamp Scents, then you are right on track!
If not then you need to skip on back to the start at Freshly Brewed Challenges.

I am so excited to share my project with you.  My card features the NEW DIGI
Cutie Bug Cake from this month's release.

It's a simple design I know, but that's how I roll. My sentiment is actually stamped on a die cut talk bubble that I initially wanted over the bug. Didn't like it so I put it along the side so as not to waste it. After all, it was stamped straight so I had to use it somehow!!!

As much as I hate to see you go, it is time for you to BUZZ on over to my
friend  Amy's blog, Lil Cutie Creations, to see the adorable  project she has prepared for you.

Be sure to hop through in full for a chance to win a free digi from this release!!!

This hop starts today, February 10th, and ends on February 12, 11:59 PM EST.

Have a happy and blessed day.

Love is in the Air

Our theme this week for The Outlawz clean and simple challenge is Love it in the Air. You're thinking Valentines Day, aren't you. Well the twist to this challenge is to create a clean and simple project that features something that is in the air!! I found this cute Amuse rocket and had to use it since it's been a very long time since it's seen ink. I happen to be looking thru some of my stamps for a different project when I spotted this sentiment from Simon Says Stamps...how perfect! Play along and have some fun with our Love is in the Air CAS challenge.

Now This is Exciting!!

What's my exciting news? I've been published!!! Doodle Pantry was chosen to be a featured company in Complete Cardmaking Magazine #48 and it was thru this that I had the honor of submitting a card for publishing! This is a first for me and I'm over the moon excited!! We were asked to do a digital "technique" with our cards. First of all, my main Doodle Pantry image is Watermelon Lunch and I magically flipped the image (okay, just kidding, it wasn't magic). I merged in two additional ants (on the slice of watermelon) from Ant Accents and used digital paper from both of these sets. Last but not least is the pinwheel from the Mini Pinwheels Template. I printed the two remaining papers from Watermelon Lunch front and back onto copy paper to create my own double sided designer paper. I then cut the template out using my Cricut. Simple and fun. Can't wait to get a copy of the magazine and show off to all my friends!!

My Sweet Friend

I've been feeling in a bit of a funk, not wanting to do any type of crafting lately. Maybe I'm working too much?!! Anyway, here's one I just did to try and get my mood turned around. The digi is from Doodle Pantry and it's called Chocolate Box. But of course I used the color version!!!! I also used one of the digital papers included in the set. Here are a couple of challenges I'm submitting my card to:

Tuesday Morning Sketches - sketch
Brown Sugar - Valentine
Craftitude - Valentine/Love
Digi Haven - Valentines Day
Paper Pretties - Valentine/Love

I Like You Tropical Island

It's time to share our newest month long prize challenge at the Fresh Brewed Blog. Here is the sketch that you may choose to use. I love sketches, but I changed this one up a little bit. I prefer square or rectangle cards, so of course I'm breaking the rules (not sure that this truly qualifies as a breaking of the rules!) and making it a square.

Because of all this crazy snow comin' our way, I decided to go to my happy place...the beach. I used the Fresh Brewed rubber stamp Palm Tree to get me in the mood for warm breezes and the crashing of the ocean waves.

Stay warm and safe. School is already on a 2 hour delay...bet they cancel tomorrow. Hopefully not, I have several errands to run.

Sweet Latte to Go

I'm late getting this posted...so what else is new. And while I'm typing this, it's snowing so hard, I can barely see down the street. I can't believe how much snow we've already gotten! And it just keeps on snowing!! Then it's supposed to turn to freezing rain...YIPEEE!!

Okay, enough about the weather ( I blame it all on that silly groundhog!). I wanted to share with you our newest sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

Our sponsor this week is a favorite of mine as well as the rest of the team, Bugaboo Stamps. Owner and artist Jodie is offering up to out winner 7 free digis of their choice!! How fun is that?!!

Here's my card, using the super fun image JJ Coffee to Go. I've gotta be honest here, the sentiment made me snort so I had to find a way to include it! Join us if you can and maybe you'll be the winner of 7 free Bugaboo images here at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

Christmas Tags

We have a new challenge for you at the Holly Jolly Christmas Challenges - tags. Initially I thought about creating a card with a tag on it...I still may do that. But for now I have these two with an image from our sponsor, Bugaboo.  The image is called Sign It Snowman and perfect for filling in with your own message. The tags were die cut then finished off with some ribbon and a button tied on with linen thread. I sure hope you can join us and show us your Christmas tags at the Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge.

Howdy

Over the weekend, OWH had 3 challenges posted that I had high hopes of playing along with. Well, you guessed it, I never got any done...until this afternoon! So I thought I would still share. This card uses a Doodle Pantry set called Saddle Up Color. A simple card, one that highlights not only the gorgeous horse but also the fun digital papers included in this set.

Some challenges I'd like to submit this card to include:
Lacy Sunshine - use a sentiment
Send a Smile 4 Kids - for the boys
4 Crafty Chicks - anything goes
Crafty Girls Challenges - anything goes

For a Super Hero

It's Sunday, and not only is the Super Bowl tonight, but it's time for our latest clean & simple challenge over at The Outlawz. This week we're looking for masculine cards, CAS style of course. I've been running a little low on mojo the past couple of weeks, and this is the second version of this card (believe me, the first one hit the garbage in a hurry after it was done!). I've been wanting to use this Paper Smooches set for some time now and this was the perfect challenge for it. The set is called Super and the coordinating die I have for this set is the Bam Bubble Die (note to self: order other two coordinating dies!). So fun, perfect for any super hero in your life. Join us at The Outlawz for our latest clean and simple masculine card challenge.

New Doodle Pantry Release

It's the first of February (how did that happen?!) and time to share the new release over at Doodle Pantry. Do check out all the new and adorable sets, they're gonna make you say "awwwwww." Here's a card using the FREE WITH PURCHASE set Salty Snack Mice. I can relate, that is my favorite kind of snack food too!! I had to merge these two adorable critters, they are just so cute! All I could think of the entire time I was making this card was a version of the game tic tac toe called cheese and crackers (instead of using X's and O's).

And here's a set previously sold at CDS called Hoppy Log. I couldn't pass up the chance to use this one again. I remember when it was released at Clearly Digi Stamps, creating with two of the images (frog and bunny). So of course I had to create with the quail this time!! Kept it somewhat monochromatic, using some of the digital paper also included in this set.

Don't forget to play along in our digital challenge over at the Doodle Pantry Blog. If you play along using a Doodle Pantry image, you'll receive for free the adorable set Easter Peeps. For more specials being offered at Doodle Pantry, check out the Specials page HERE.
