Sweet Christmas Cardinal

Welcome back for another new challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. Another wonderful sketch to play with!! Can't wait to see what you create!

We have a wonderful sponsor this week, Deedee's Digis. Take a moment to look through her store, so many sweet and fabulous digital sets "that will make you smile!"

Yes, you saw it right, I made a Christmas card!!! I love cardinals and this one has been calling my name for quite some time!! I have them at my feeder year round and can't stop staring at their gorgeous beauty. Now it's time for you to share your creations with us at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

I'm submitting my card to the What's the Word, Bird challenge over at Dragonfly Journeys.

Ohhh and Ahhhh...nothing wrong with a Christmas card and it's almost Christmas in July. Beautiful and I love the touch of plaid paper.

Love your card Linda, we don't have Cardinals in New Zealand but I guess we have a lot of birds you don't have either. This is a great image and so perfect for a Christmas card also great for a masculine card. Your design papers are perfect. Take care and have a great week and enjoy that summer.

What a pretty, card, I love cardinals, I feed them all Winter in hopes that they will nest in my yard come spring and summer. One year I had them nesting outside my kitchen window. Have a super week. Hugs, Heide

Beautiful card Linda, the sentiment is perfect too. We don't have cardinals over here either and no birds in our nest box this year as it has been taken over by bees.

Hi Linda! I love cardinals too, and sure do miss seeing them. I think it's too hot for them here in Phoenix. This is a beautiful Christmas card, and that plaid paper is perfect too. Thank you so much for entering it into my challenge this week.

Your plaid paper is fantastic! What an interesting combination with your colors and that striking Cardinal. We have Cardinals but they get run off by the Stellar Jays (those big bullies don't like sharing the feeder) Nicely done Linda!
