Clear Dollar Stamps New Release

It's time to WOW you with our newest release from Clear Dollar Stamps!!! So many wonderful stamps to choose from, you might have to have them ALL!!
First up, because I am so excited about this one, is the Elegant Accents Die set. I used two of the three dies on this card. I especially love the long border die that I can cut in half and have perfectly matching borders like on this long narrow layer. I also used one of the coordinating stamp sets, Elegant Accents.

Here's another lovely stamp set called Elegant Accents Ovals that I took to the farthest extreme from "elegant." LOL!! I used it as a layer for the adorable Mr. Spike who, like the sentiment says, always makes me smile!!

Now here we go with another of two ovals, Your Friendship. This time I made a frame of sorts, cutting out the center and popping up over the Pot of Violets individual stamp.

Please visit all of the CDS DT blogs listed over on my right side bar. You will see lots and lots of wonderful creations. And check out Lori's blog HERE to see all of the stamp sets we are showing off for you today. Come back tomorrow too for day two of our Product Parade.

You Warm My Heart

I hope this cutie of an image, Hannah Belle Cooks from Fresh Brewed Designs, makes you smile like she does me. I think it's the way she's holding her tongue as she concentrates on what she's cooking!! I used to do that as a kid all the time, and my Mother used to lovingly tease me (at least I hope it was lovingly!!!) about it! This card is actually for the month long prize challenge over at the Fresh Brewed Blog. The challenge calls for 2 pattern papers (I used Cosmo Cricket's Garden Variety), 2 embellishments (ribbon and brads), and 2 shapes (okay, so I have 3...rectangles, ovals and circles). It's a fun recipe to try so join us, we'd love to see what you create!!

Sweet Sketch This Wednesday

And yes, it really is Wednesday!! Holidays always mess me up, and this week is not exception! Well what do you think of the sketch Arlana has made up for this week? It's so much fun, you really won't be able to resist playing along with us at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

We have a really fun sponsor too, it's Meljen's Designs. Owner Melissa has graciously offered a prize of 4 free digis of the winner's choice!! Check out her site because she has some adorable freebies too.

Here is my card using the adorable image Sail Away. I just couldn't resist using some bright fun summery colors and papers by Echo Park. Now I must admit, I've never seen a green and purple striped sail boat before, but that's what our imaginations are all about!!!! Thanks for stopping by. You'll love what the rest of the DT created, so be sure and stop by their blogs and leave 'em a little love.

Be sure and come back tomorrow, the Product Parade for Clear Dollar Stamps begins!

Being a Krafty Christmas Lady

Not that long ago, I had the same original pack of kraft card stock...it was just something I never used. Well things sure have changed because now I love it!! This card is actually for the "She's Krafty" challenge over at Christmas Stampin' All Year. I used a new stamp set from Paper Smooches called Swanky Snowdudes. Such a fun set too!!! I also love out of the box Christmas colors, so not only did I use kraft, but also bashful blue and orchid opulence. I swiped the white ink pad around the edges of the card base as well as over the embossed orchid layer. I may have forgotten to add any embellishments, but I did do some sewing as well as some Stickling (I'm sure that's not a real word, but us crafters sure know what it means!). Enjoy the rest of your day!

Enjoy the Moment

Happy 4th of July!! Now before moving on to today's challenge, if you are interested in scooping up a lovely freebie, be sure and scroll down to my first post, you won't want to miss it!

And for today's color combo at Picture Perfect Creations, we'd like to see your creations using Soft suede, Peach parfait, Cherry cobbler, and Pacific point. Quite the combo, don't you think?! I must admit, I was stumped with these colors. Usually something pops in my head almost right away when I see colors...but this one sure didn't!! So a challenge it was!!!

Here is my card using a Sweet 'n Sassy stamp called Milton's Good Book. I found some background papers that matched the colors very nicely (I almost typed micely!!!). Now I need you to check out the rest of the DT's projects because they really rocked it this week. And I can't wait to see what you come up with using these colors!!! Enjoy the day!

Happy 4th of July

You were expecting something red, white and blue, weren't you?! I wanted to go outside my usual colors today with this image from Fresh Brewed Designs. And what makes this image so special is it's for Mocha Manic Monday, which means for today only, this beauty if FREE!!!!! Now if you miss out on getting this image today, don't worry, it will be available in the store starting tomorrow.

I picked up this lovely dsp at my local scrapbook store the other day, and therefore the inspiration for my colors. I really like the way this came out, sparkly wings and all!

Enjoy your holiday. We go to the airport later this afternoon to pick up Phillip. He has already warned me that he has taken mega amounts of pictures! Looks like I'll be making lots of scrapbook pages!!!

Summer Fun

Ahhhh yes, I can almost smell the burgers and dogs grilling right now. There's nothin' like it! Mind you, we grill in the winter time too, shoveling a path to it and teasing the neighbors (who are probably saying "there's those idiot Andersons grilling again in the middle of winter!!"), but in the summer it's about every other day. Here is Scooter from Fresh Brewed Designs cooking up something tasty. I started with some scraps out of my bin and the colors took off from there. I want to submit this for a few challenges:

Crafty Ho's - BBQ
Wags 'n Whiskers - Summertime
Craft Us Crazy - Summertime

Be sure and check out Fresh Brewed Designs because there's a sale goin' on!!! Kids digis and handmade embellishments are 40% off and all unmounted rubber stamps are 30% off!! What a deal!! And be sure to come back tomorrow for Mocha Manic Monday...that's when Heather posts a freebie for one day only, the first Monday of every month. Scoop it up tomorrow and create something wonderful with it.
