How adorable these images are from High Hopes Rubber Stamps. I received this owl from a very generous Wish RAKer. I actually used my Prisma Color Pencils on this one. This is for a WRAK sketch challenge - nothing like waiting till the last day of the month to finish it. And nothing like filling every available inch with some kind of embellishment!!! Oh well, back to watching the Stanley Cup -- GO PENS!!

God is our Refuge and Strength
A dual challenge card - good thing for all the inspiration, I'm running a little low. First is the monthly Bible verse challenge - I just made it for the month of May!! This also goes for the Wish RAK challenge of the color combo - Lovely lilac, Almost amethyst, White, and any shade of green (I used Old olive and Certainly celery). Of course I had to use my all-time favorite set, Blossoms Abound. It was a must with these colors! The Bible verse is what I received thru Wish RAK. It's cut out with one of my Nestabilities sets. I didn't trust myself to hand pierce all those holes, I was listening to the Pittsburgh Penguins game and was a little distracted. I used my sewing machine instead, with no thread. Can't say they're much straighter but they did go much faster! Had to use my Martha Stewart butterfly punch, absolutely love it! A few added pearls and it's complete.

Because You're Wonderful!
Another DRS Designs stamp that has never seen ink...until tonight!! This turtle is sooooo cute!!! I used my Copic markers on him and Crystal Effected his shell. I masked him off to stamp in the grass, also from DRS Designs, and sponged in green to fill in the white. Now those blobs of white and blue are my first attempt at clouds -- thanks for the inspiration Stacy, aka Twinshappy! I'll need more practice, that's for sure. The sentiment is from TAC, oval punched out and popped up on the scallop oval punch, which is also popped up. I used scraps of Basic Grey paper and added two lavender pearls. A definite step out of my comfort zone because purple is not a fave of mine at all, so I very rarely use it. Using it small doses is okay though.
I'm having a few ladies over on Sunday to stamp, so I'd better get everything ready. The Pens are on tomorrow in the Stanley Cup so not much stamping will be going on then!!! LET'S GO PENS!!!!!!!

It's All About the Fun!
I needed a birthday card to mail out tomorrow...I also needed to use some of my new DRS Designs stamps. This snail simply makes me smile! I stamped her then masked the image to put in the grass as well as fill in with some sponging of green and blue. The shell was stamped a second time on scrap paper, colored with Copics, covered in Versamark Dazzle (champagne), and popped up. Something else I had to break out and use for the first time were my pinking nestabilities. I LOVE 'EM!!! Some ribbon and pearls and my card is complete. It didn't take very long, hooray for me on that note!! LOL!!!

I Adore You
A day in the life of Linda Anderson just can't be simple anymore!!!!! I finished this card late last night and decided to wait till this morning to take a picture and post it. Well, only to find out this morning that my camera was broken. Off to Target I go but they are sold out of most of their cameras -- graduation gifts the clerk said. Where to next? Costco came to mind and I found the one I was looking for. Even had colors to choose from. Well as you know a camera doesn't work right out of the package, the battery needs to be charged!! That didn't take as long as I thought it would so I took pictures...only to find our internet wasn't working...again!!!!! After all these hoops I had to jump thru, here's my card!!!!!
This card is for a Wish RAK challenge on SCS to make a card for a child other than a birthday card. Since I have two boys I knew this image from Stamping Bella was for me; it's called Tyler the Jock. And I went with an "I love you" card, which again, because I have two boys, you can't say in public to them, it's too mushy!!!!! So I went with "adore." The sentiment is by Hero Arts. Brilliant blue, Real red, White, and some scrap yellow designer paper are the colors. Thanks for swinging by and listening to my tale of woe!

Holiday Wishes!
A Christmas card you say?! Yes, this is for the monthly Christmas card challenge on SCS. I made 10 of this card...for the month of April (insert chuckle here!). Okay, so I'm a bit behind, but at least I'm making a dent! I'm trying to keep the cards simple so I'm not paying thru the nose for postage. When I finished this one, I realized I hadn't put on one single embellishment!!!! It's really hard not to keep adding more, more, more!!! I love this cute little snowman from the SU set Holiday Tag Team. I received loads of them thru the very generous ladies of Wish RAK. Easy coloring with Copics and a touch of glitter. Oh so fun!

Riley Misses You
Seems like I've missed a few days blogging too!!! I received this Riley image thru WRAK, isn't he adorable!!!! I will save this one to send to the group that mails cards to the troops for them to in turn mail home to family and friends. I used my Copics on Riley and an embossing folder on the orange layer as well as paper piercing. The sentiment is from a Clear Dollar Stamps set called What a Hoot. And the camouflage background is from CDS's Farm Critters set -- it's actually spots meant for a cow!!!!! I looked at that and immediately thought camo!
Well I planned on going to the grocery store an hour ago so I'd better get going. Now that's a job I really don't like doing!!! The actual shopping is fine, it's putting everything away once I get home. Oh well, it won't get done by itself so off I go. Have a wonderful day and WAY TO GO PENS!!!!!!!!

Daisy Charlie
I made a second card from the Daisy Charlie set by Clear Dollar Stamps. He is so cute and super fast and easy to color. I used my Copics to do that! I also pulled out some Basic Grey 6x6 pads, this one is Granola. Since brown and blue are favorite colors, I had no trouble working with these papers! I needed a little pop of color so that's where the bright green button comes in!
I need to get on the ball, Sunday is my stamp camp. I have 17 ladies signed up. We always have "Show and Tell" so we can all show off our creations. It's one thing to see it on a blog, it's another to hold it in your hand as you ooooo and ahhhhh over it!!

I'm Back!!!!
We are finally back in business -- the cyberspace business that is!! A week without the Internet isn't easy!! Now the daunting task of getting caught up with everything!!!
Anyway, I was playing with some of my Clear Dollar Stamps -- this is a set called Daisy Charlie. He is so super sweet. I used my Copic markers and some Basic Grey papers from the Ambrosia line. Tangerine tango is not my favorite color but boy did it warm up the greys in this line of DSP. I've been sewing clothes on my machine so why not throw a card into the mix too!!!!
Thanks for stopping by. So much has been happening hear, not all good news though. When my 13 year old got to school today his homeroom teacher announced that their field trip was cancelled and why - one of the 8th grade students had died. No details were available which just leaves them sad and confused. We've know this girl and her entire family since preschool. Too sad. And as for updates on my kitty Fred, he has good days and bad days when it comes to eating. I was able to get some baby food into him for a few days but now he even refuses to eat that. We force water into him with a syringe, I'm afraid I'll have to do that with his food too. Told you it was a lot of sad news. Anyway, I missed all of you and can't wait to visit your blogs and see all the wonderful creations of my many talented friends!! Have a great day.

A Sympathy Card for Peggy
In yesterday's post I mentioned about my friend Peggy losing her mother. This card is for Peggy. I used PaperTrey Ink's set "With Sympathy." Cardstock colors are Berry Sorbet, Sweet Blush and Spring Moss. I stamped the vine in New Leaf and colored in the leaves with several Copics. The flowers are stamped in Berry Sorbet. Love that Martha Stewart butterfly, perfect to add the tiny pearls in. The Spring moss layer is embossed with the Distressed Stripes folder and the Cuttlebug. And I filled in the empty space with some white mini brads I got at Clear Dollar Stamps. They just had a new release of some very adorable stamp sets so check 'em out.

With Sympathy
My good stamping friend Peggy lost her Mother this week which saddens me. Louise was a very sweet woman, with a wonderful sense of humor, who also loved to stamp. She will be missed. This is the card I will be sending to Peggy's sister Ruth, also a fabulous stamper. I am still using up scraps from the Cosmo Cricket line "Everlasting." I even used a piece of the chipboard that was leftover from my other project. The sentiment is from PaperTrey Ink's "With Sympathy" set. Thanks for stopping by. There are lots of good sales out there in on-line shopping world that I really must take advantage of!!! Look out credit card!!!!!
