With Sympathy
We're challenging you to make clean and simple sympathy cards this week at The Outlawz. It's definitely something I don't always have on hand. I found an old Flourishes stamp (the flowers) and also used a Verve Stamps set for the sentiment (both inside and out). That stamp set is called Forever in Our Hearts. I ended up making two cards but this design is so simple I could have certainly made many more. Sure hope you can join our CAS challenge this week over at The Outlawz.

Hello
Check out this fun and fabulous sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. I had a real fun time with this one and I know you will too!
Here's my card, using a Jennifer McGuire technique she called stacked die cutting. Check out her video HERE. I stenciled on the background using the Sketched Lines Stencil by Altenew. The sentiment (heat embossed) and die (cut out 3 times and covered in wink of stella) are an old set by Avery Elle. The flower is from a Simon Says Stamp die, like the sentiment and hello die, must be retired because I can't seem to find it. The flower and leaves are also covered in wink of stella...love the sparkle. A quick and easy, clean and simple, and easily mailed card is complete!! Now it's your turn to share your creation with us at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.
Challenges I'm submitting my card to include:
Aud Sentiments - Anything Goes + a sentiment
Southern Girls Challenge - Add sparkle
Fab 'n' Funky - Create a background
Simon Says Stamp - A bit of sparkle

Hello My Friend
Welcome to the CAS challenge at The Outlawz for this week. Our challenge hostess is from South Africa and they are in the midst of the fall season. The theme is to create a card using autumn colors - brown, green, orange, etc. I pulled out a Paper Trey Ink stamp set, Ombre Builders, that I have never used before -- YIKES!! That created the colorful background. The I die cut the Scripty Hello from Lawn Fawn three times for some dimension. I then added a sentiment along with some embellishments like gold thread and sequins. I rarely add embellies so this was a stretch outside my comfort zone!! Sure hope you can join us for our autumn colors challenge over at The Outlawz.

BINGO
We're playing a little bingo this week over at Catch the Bug. Lots of fun combinations to pick from too!
Here's my card (sparkle, stitching, sentiment), using from Bugaboo the adorable Sunbonnet Candy Cane (not yet in the new store). I colored her up with my copic markers then covered quite a bit with my wink of Stella glitter pen. I also used red glitter paper to make it extra sparkly! I cheated with the stitching, making use of two stitched dies. Now I can't wait to see what you create for our Bingo challenge this week over at Catch the Bug.

How Are You?
It's "Oldie But Goodie" Thursday at Catch the Bug. That's where we pick an older Bugaboo image, one that you may never seen before or forgotten about, dust it off, and create something with it. Stella Says Sketch
It's time for a Stella Says Sketch challenge over at Catch the Bug. With summer right around the corner, we will have one sketch per month. Bi-monthly sketches will return in September.
Yes, that's right, I made a Christmas card!!! But who could resist this adorable Bugaboo image, Snowman #3. I had to use the color version because with picking up more hours at work, I'm finding less and less time to craft. Now I hope you can join us this month for the latest and greatest Stella Says Sketch at Catch the Bug.

You're Toadally Awesome!
Did you know yesterday was "Dance Like a Frog Day?" Yeah, me either!! Well our CAS challenge over at The Outlawz is to create a card with a frog on it. I printed off this cutie from Imagine That Digistamp, Skipper's Pocket. The pattern paper is from the Goin' Buggy digi paper pack also from Imagine That Digistamp. Keeping with the polka dotted theme, I used a favorite embossing folder for the black layer. A quick card to create, thanks to the fun pre-colored digi by Imagine That Digistamp. I sure hope you can join us for some toadally awesome CAS fun this week at The Outlawz.

Enjoy Your Special Day!
We have a new sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge and it's fabulous!!! Check it out and join us, we love to see what you create!
Here's my take on the sketch, using the dragonfly die cut in place of the flowers. The die and stamp set are part of the Dragonfly Dreams bundle from Stampin' Up. The background for the circle is inspired by a SU demonstrator, Tami White. Check out her blog and YouTube channel for some wonderful ideas. Now it's your turn to make something with the wonderful sketch found at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

Sweet Day
Today at Catch the Bug it's Anything But a Card day. I'm sharing a Teabag and Cookie holder that I found on Pinterest. I'll have to look for it later (it's currently 2am as I'm typing...so excuse any and all typos!). The Bugaboo image I used is the Kidz Cookie which at this time is not in the store. With so many images, Jodie is every day adding more so be on the look out for this cutie. The holder itself is from a sheet of 8 1/2 x 12 inch of double sided pattern paper. Super fun to make, but I know for a fact it will be more fun to eat those cookies!!!! Hahaha!! Be sure and head over to Catch the Bug to see other awesome ABC projects.
