I am so far behind on things, it isn't even funny. No excuses, just lots of stuff happenin'. Welcome to our newest challenge at Color My Heart - Blush and Cranberry. Perfect pink and red shades for a Valentines Day card. I didn't have any good Close to my Heart stamps to make a valentine, so I went with a birthday. Besides, I've been wanting to ink up this stamp set for awhile now, Nursery Bash. Such adorable creatures, and who wouldn't love a pink and red giraffe?! I had to add the pop of black to make the other colors really stand out. Now I sure hope you can join us at Color My Heart, we would love to see what you create with Blush and Cranberry (or something close).
Two challenges I would like to submit this card to are:
Love to Create - they're celebrating their 1st birthday and "Celebrate" is their challenge theme
OWH - Midweek Throwdown - Cards 4 kids

Linda, I love your cute little giraffe! I want it so bad! It's adorable :) Great card!
Oh...that giraffe is just achingly cute!! I love that strip of red down the right side, too. Nicely done (and going straight into my CASE file).
P.S. I am also a supporter of OWH. Maybe we should talk the Color My Heart gals into a "cardraiser" sometime.
This is the cutest pink giraffe ever! The kids are going to be loving all these fun cards!
Great card. I love everything about it and nice way to incorporate the giraffe with the color challenge!
What a sweet giraffe and fabulous stitching, lovely card Linda!
Perfect balance of the challenge colours and neutrals in this card, and I love anything with machine stitching! Who wouldn't love that cutie giraffe in ANY colour combination... I also like how the spots on the giraffe are echoed by the spotted embossed background... Great design this week!
What a fun card!--love that giraffe! The machine stitching gives ties it all in nicely. Your artwork never ceases to amaze me!
:) Marie
