CDS August Blog Hop

Okay, this is blog hop #3 for me this weekend!! Scroll down for hops from Fresh Brewed Designs and Autumn Blog Hop with Sean and Regina.

Welcome to our monthly blog hop at Clear Dollar Stamps. If you got here from Sarah's blog, then you're right on track. If not, I'd suggest going back to the beginning to the CDS Blog. After all, when there's a prize involved, you'll want to comment on every blog!! What's the prize...why a $25 gift certificate for digital stamps at the CDS Store!!

Our theme for this month's blog hop was "Use a Sentiment Only. No images allowed." Challenging and fun at the same time! Well, once again, I couldn't make just one card. I ended up making two using the same layout but a different sentiment, paper and brad embellishment.

The digital stamp set I used was Totally Tags. I have drawers filled with fun shaped brads, so I matched them up with the sentiments in this set. So an adorable spider (say what?!) brad paired up with the "Trick or Treat" tag. I found some fun paper and the spider web embossing folder. Oh, and the sketch is from Operation Write Home - check it out HERE.

And here's card #2. I found this cute little duckie brad so a baby card it is!! Did you notice my goof? Yep, I kinda messed up on which of the two panels from the sketch went down first. Oh well, stamper's interpretation is what I'm going to call it!!!!!

I'm the last stop of our August blog hop. I really hope you've enjoyed our "sentiments only" cards. Remember, to increase your chances of winning, be sure and comment on every blog. Not only is the winner chosen randomly, but the DT member's blog that the winner comes from is also random. Have a wonderful today.

Smiling here. What a cute little Halloween card. Brings to mind that title "too cute to spook" which is prefect for remembering those younger friends and family members.

Hi Linda: I'm really enjoying this hop. Lots of awesome inspiration, and some really sweet gals I've met along the way. Clear Dollar Stamps is a great Christian company, and I love their sentiments and images. Thanks for being part of it and giving us all this opportunity.
Blessings,
