And here is what we have for you this week, a lovely bedroom pic. What inspires you?
I was immediately drawn to the "balls" hanging from the ceiling and thought of Christmas ornaments. I also pulled out the pinks and blues for my color palette. I used an old Stampin' Up set called Crazy for Christmas. The stamped image is long and skinny, so a 3 x 6 card it is!! I really wanted the ornaments to be the star, so no designer paper, but then it looked too plain. Even my love for sewing on my cards didn't add the punch I was looking for. So I pulled out something I very rarely use, glitter! Please don't hate me for what I'm about to say, but I hate glitter!! It's so messy! But it was exactly what this card needed. Now be sure and join us for our challenge this week at Paper Lovin' Gals, and show us what inspires you.

Linda, your comment about glitter made me smile! I LOVE glitter but I agree that it's messy. I use my embossing tray and embossing buddy to cut down a little on the sticky factor. Hope that tip helps you use glitter more often.
Love your card and yes that glitter was just the right touch.
Welcome to the DT!
Cheers

What cute little ornaments, the pinks and blues are different for a Christmas card but I think they work so well.
Congratulations, Linda, and what a gorgeous card! Nice :D

What a wonderful Christmas card! And yes, glitter is extremely messy but it added a perfect touch.
Beautiful card Linda and congrats on the DT. They are lucky to have you create for them!
I'm loving all that pink and glitter! Glitter never really likes to stay in one place, no matter what we do. What a great take on the inspiration photo. Welcome aboard the Paper Lovin' Gals!
Linda, I hate glitter too! Especially when I find it in my car and on my husband. It gets everywhere! At a Stampin Up convention the lady who was doing a demo first put glitter on her face so she didn't have to worry about it for the rest of the day. It was hilarious! Anyhoo... I LOVE your card! It's very pretty and made me smile from ear to ear :)
