A Day for Daisies on This Sweet Wednesday

Hello and welcome to another edition of the Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenges. This is one fabulous sketch so be sure and join us this week.

Check out our sponsor this week, A Day for Daisies. A wonderful prize is up for grabs for our winner, a $12 gift certificate for the shop at A Day for Daisies.

Here's my card, using the beautiful digital image Tree Angel. I have a confession to make, I had to color three different images before I got one that I liked. Then, once I got the whole card put together, I didn't like the end result of that! I simply had to put up with it but plan to create with this sketch again and do it justice! I feel off my groove right now having been gone for a stressful week taking care of my parents. It's wonderful to be home! I'm working my way back into my stamp room so I can feel the rhythm again. In the mean time, be sure and check out what the rest of the design team for Sweet Sketch Wednesday created, you definitely will be inspired there.

Oh Linda, your card is simply lovely! I think everyone of the DT did an amazing job with their cards this week and yours in no exception. I do know what you mean though, I have colored up more than one image for a card to get that right one. Anyway, your card is beautiful. I hope all when well with your parents. Have a wonderful week.
Hugs, Nancy

Linda, I am sorry you are not happy with your card, I loved it as soon as I saw it. I adore your unique color palette and that ribbon is gorgeous. This is such an adorable image and you did it proud. I know what you mean about being off sometimes, caring for my MIL is stressful and sometimes I can create and it helps and sometimes it just builds a blank wall, lol. Hope you are back in the swing and relaxed before long.
