Stella Says Sketch

It's a new year and time for a new Stella Says Sketch over at Catch the Bug. I love it, so perfect for the CAS style I've come to adore!! 

Here's my card, using from Bugaboo, Glass of Wine a Day. I had this image colored and die cut for a previous challenge...and it never got put to use. How lucky was I that it fit perfectly with this sketch! I added glossy accents to the wine, I so love the shine. Sure hope you can join us for Stella's latest sketch over at Catch the Bug.
 

How Kind

The challenges have resumed over at Catch the Bug and this week's theme is Anything Goes. I'm done making Christmas cards, but now I need thank you cards. I couldn't resist this cutie from Bugaboo, Lady Bug Butterfly. I get to use a classic color combo that I love, red, white and black. Happy New Year

Welcome 2016!! I'm going to have to get used to writing it!! The first of the month means a new Ants in my Pantry Digital Challenge getting started at the Doodle Pantry Blog. Use any digital image for your chance at a prize from Doodle Pantry. I'm actually tired of making Christmas cards, so I pulled out this beautiful Resting Bird image and sentiment that I found on my pile of "been printed off for awhile now" digis!!  The pattern paper I also found on my pile and comes from the set Workout Birdie (perfect for that New Year's resolution to get into shape!!).

Speaking of birds,I've been keeping my feeders filled and they have been visiting me every minute of the day. Even the robins, who usually fly south for the winter, have decided to stay here in Pittsburgh. Yesterday I had 12, yes 12, of them taking turns in our waterfall taking a bath. It was so fun to watch!

A Purr-fect Birthday

Late this afternoon I found some time to hit my craft room and I came up with this birthday card. I needed a few for my stash so I went to work printing up some pre-colored digis and paper. This cutie is called Birthday Kitty and is from Imagine That. The paper, also from Imagine That, is part of the Cat Pack. Once I found the right shades of blue cardstock, this card took no time at all to come together.
  

From Our House to Yours

Going through my stack of digis that I had printed off but never made into a project, I found these French Horns from Doodle Pantry. I also found these digital papers from the Holiday Joy Digi Paper Pack! Could that have worked out any better?!!! Then I found this awesome sketch at Freshly Made Sketches and the whole thing came together in a snap. And now I have two new cards for next year's Christmas pile!
