Happy Father's Day

It's Monday...need I say more. I do want to share a card I made real quick last night for my father-in-law. It's a pre-colored digi by Doodle Pantry called Gone Fishing. The calendar told me Father's Day is this Sunday...how did I miss that?!!! Anyway, my card is ready for a change. I'm usually always late. I'd like to submit my card into a few challenges:

Glitter n Sparkle - use a digi
One Stitch at a Time - use a digi
That Craft Place - men
Crazy 4 Challenges - man made
Crafts 4 Eternity - For the boys

Happy Birthday Wishes

Welcome to the latest and greatest CAS challenge over at The Outlawz. We're asking you to use die cuts. I love using die cuts, I think I use them on every card I make! I wanted to use a few recently purchased items here, that way I don't feel so guilty buying 'em!!! First up my die cut and stamp set is from Reverse Confetti, Label Me to be exact. You can find the die HERE and the stamp set HERE. The sequins are from my stash...always happy to use that up. The background was created with embossing paste and a triangle stencil (sorry, no link for this item, I won it in some blog candy). That layer is popped up onto the white card base. Oh, and I can't forget to mention the linen thread...I bought a whole spool of it, yes, 400 yards, because I use it so much!! We crafters are crazy!!! Hope you can join us this week for some die cutting fun at The Outlawz.

Challenges I'd like to submit my card to include:
Inkspirational - Clean and Simple
Paper Crafting Challenges - Stencils

Reach for the Sky

I bought some dies to go along with my clear stamps by Lawn Fawn and had to start playing right away!! The stamp set Sunny Skies was one of my very first purchased from Lawn Fawn. Imagine my delight when they released a coordinating die set. Quick and easy to create. And oh so fun, just what I needed. Here are some challenges I'd like to submit my card to:

Fussy and Fancy - Outside
Scrapbooker PhD - Use your die cuts
Fan-Tastic Tuesday - Summer
Lawnscaping Challenge - Embossing

Have a Purrfect Day

Thought I would throw in a public service announcement today for my blog post -- June is Adopt a Shelter Cat Month. Visit your local shelter and give a cat their forever home. You'll be glad you did...and so will your new furry friend.

In honor of adopt a cat month, I decided to create a card using a Fresh Brewed Designs image called Daisy Kitten. I used my Copic markers on her along with my new Wink of Stella pen, giving the inside of the flower just a touch of sparkle. I went with minimal embellishments too, using my sewing machine for that touch of stitching.

Speaking of Fresh Brewed Designs, we're changing things up a bit with our challenges on the Fresh Brewed Blog. Starting this month, we will be having challenges every other week. The first one is Flowers and Lace -- read all about it HERE. Join us, for your chance to win some yummy blog candy just by using a Fresh Brewed Designs image. Fun, fun, fun!!!

It's Coffee O'Clock

Happy Wednesday to you! Yes, it's hump day...HOORAY!!! And that means it's time for a new challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. And here it is!!! Another beauty.

Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps. They are a favorite of so many of us on the design team! I know I'm one of them! They are offering our winner 7 free images. All I can say to that is good luck narrowing it down to 7!!!

Here's my card, using the fun Scarlette - Coffee O'Clock image. I had to have this digi, it reminds me of so many of my friends and one in particular (yes Heather, I'm talking about you!!!). I added Stickles to my die cut hearts but they didn't photograph very well, so use your imagination. Now it's your turn to join us this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

Merry Christmas Elf

Welcome to our latest challenge at Holly Jolly Christmas - Santa or Elf. We're lucky enough to be sponsored by Bugaboo this week...and you know I love Bugaboo!! Here I used Deacon Christmas - Elf Presents. Keepin' it clean and simple...and really quick because I am still running into life obstacles that are taking away my crafting time! I'm hooked on linen thread now, feathering out the ends on this one for more fun texture. Please join us at Holly Jolly Christmas for our Santa/Elf themed challenge.

Cool Ride

It's release day at Doodle Pantry!!! You don't want to miss out on all the fun and fabulous images, so hurry over and check 'em all out!!! I get to share a card I made using the set Classic Bug & Gas Can. This set is actually free with purchase until June 24th! My first car was a VW bug, orange to be exact. So fun to drive...until the heat went out on the darn thing in the middle of winter!!! Check out the digital papers that come in this set...I love, love, love the beetle print!!!!! Had to put it to use for sure. The sentiment comes from Classic Cars 1 - perfect for my friend who just bought herself a new car.

The special for June: the new June release is 25% off from now thru June 4th. And a little change to our Doodle Pantry Digital Challenge for the months of June & July only. There will be no free set emailed to you for using a Doodle Pantry image. However, there will be three random winners selected from ALL entries on June 25th. The theme will be "Make it Manly" and you can use any company's digital image, but we sure do love it when you use a Doodle Pantry image!!! So be sure and join us this month over at the Doodle Pantry Blog.
