Clean and Simple

It's a new challenge over at SCS to make clean and simple cards - minimal layers, minimal embellishments, and minimal techniques. I love layers and dimension so a challenge is was! But fun and one I will continue. I was inspired by the colors (blues and greens) of a swatch of flannel we were shown. I used Papertrey Inks Spring rain and Spring moss (does it sound like I'm anxious for spring?!) as well as their white and Lemon tart. Stamps include PTI's Polka Dot Basics and Around & About Sentiments as well as a Clear Dollar Stamp set I received as a gift for being on the Design Team called A Medley of Gratitude. Love the new eyelet punch by SU, want to use it on everything!!! Not a lot of layers and NO DIMENSIONALS!!!!! GASP!! Did add ribbon, also by PTI.
Woke up this morning to almost 2 inches of snow and VERY windy. Visibility was terrible! I couldn't see up our street watching for the bus. It ended up being half an hour late!! I need a day where nothing out of the ordinary happens!!!!!!!

Hi Linda! Glad to see that you go over your "stamping slump"! Hugs!

I love this sweet, clean and simple card. It is so pretty and feminine...and I love that SU border punch, too! I'll have to look into that.

Keep cardmaking, girfriend! We care and love you!

Great card. I definitely should have tried this challenge. I don't do so well with the fancy stuff like you pros do.
