Happy Hump Day!! And welcome back for the latest installment of Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. Being the last Wednesday of the month, we're pulling out a sketch from the vault and revisiting it. A good blast from the past sketch is always fun to so the second time around.
Our sponsor this week is Meljen's Designs. It's exciting and sad at the same time...Meljen's Designs is closing in April. Read all about it HERE. In the mean time, she's having a 50% off sale this month so let's go shopping!!
Here's my card using the sketch and the sweet image from Meljen's Designs, Cat and Mouse. I don't think either of my two cats would be sleeping so peacefully with a mouse on top of them!! As a matter of fact, here's a picture of them sunning themselves...
It's not often I find them sleeping so peacefully so close together.
Now I hope you can join us this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

What Makes You Happy?!
Our CAS challenge over at The Outlawz is a fun one. I think we all know the song "Happy" by Pharrell Williams. We want to know what makes you happy...clean and simple style of course!! I'm happiest when I'm on vacation, at the beach, soaking up the warm sunshine, listening to the crashing waves, eating fresh seafood and feeling totally relaxed. So I went with a sponsor image, Cutie Bug Floats by Fresh Brewed Designs. Of course after the card was done, I wished I had embossed the green card. Losing my mojo has been a struggle when I sit down to make cards. Oh well, keep on keeping on!! I hope you can join our Sunday CAS challenge at The Outlawz. There are 5 free images from Fresh Brewed Designs up for grabs for our winner this month!!

Thinking of Ewe
Normally I post on Thursdays with my reminder card for the challenge over at the Fresh Brewed Blog. Well, Thursday came and went and no card was created...until tonight! With Easter quickly approaching, Eggs is the challenge theme this week. I went with a recently released cutie of an image from Fresh Brewed Designs called Ewe - Easter Egg. Now I must admit, I had this image colored and cut out Wednesday evening. Then all I did was sit and stare at it, not a simple idea came to my mind. How sad is that?!!!!! I ended up with a very simple card, thankfully spruced up with an embossing folder and ribbon. It's tough when your mojo takes a walk!!! So here's my Thursday card, made and posted on Friday, for a challenge that started on Wednesday!!! Got it??!!

Sweet Vegetable Garden
Yep, it's Wednesday, so that means a new sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. Yet another fun and fabulous sketch too, plenty of opportunity to use those pattern papers you've been hoarding (or is that only me?!!).
Our very generous monthly sponsor, Digi Stamp Boutique, is offering our winner a £10 gift voucher for their store. Take a moment and browse, I know you'll have a wish list a mile long (or, once again, is that only me?!!!).
With the nasty cold and snowy winter we've had here in Pittsburgh, PA, it was such a pleasure working with this sweet image, In the Garden - Veggies. My Dad was the master gardener of the family. Boy how I miss him and his wonderful produce!
I sure hope you can join us this week and share your wonderful inspiration with us at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.
I'd like to enter my card into the March customer competition over at the Digi Stamp Boutique Blog.

Jolly Wishes
It's time for a new challenge at Holly Jolly Christmas, and we want to see stitching on your Christmas project, real or faux. I used an image from one of our sponsors, Crafty Sentiments Designs. It shouldn't surprise you that I went with a snowman image since I totally adore them!!! This guy's name is Snowman Song. I went with real stitching too, running my sewing machine several times across the top in a wonky straight stitch. So fun using up scraps too. A clean and simple card, just the way I like it.
Challenges I'd like to submit my card to include:
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra - Anything goes Christmas
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge - Use some black

Sending You Hugs and Prayers
I haven't played in the progressive challenge for awhile over at Imagine That, but I was in need of a sympathy card and this set, Pretty Peacocks, was exactly what I needed. Yes, I kept it clean and simple so I could easily pop it in the mail. I decided to be bold and go with the bright colors too to really highlight the beautiful peacock.
What a beautiful day today!! Okay, it was cloudy and we got sprinkles, but it hit 60 degrees!!! Would you believe we still have piles of snow but they are definitely getting smaller and smaller! Could spring be on its way? I sure hope so!!!

Sweetie Pie
I have a new card to share, it's for our CAS challenge at The Outlawz. Since yesterday was Pi Day, our challenge is to create a project with a pie theme!! YUM! I always laugh when I hear the phrase "easy as pie" because I don't find making pie to be very easy!!! But they sure are delicious! I used a rubber stamp from our sponsor, Fresh Brewed Designs, called Sweet as Pie. I found these papers in my stash of monthly kits I used to subscribe to...how perfect. Join us for some "easy as pie" fun at The Outlawz.
