Teabag Holder

Today I have the honor of presenting a tutorial for Catch the Bug. I decided to show you a teabag holder that I found on line. I wish I had the name of the original creator but I don't. This is the finished product from the front, using Tea Time - Tea Cup from Bugaboo.

Here is what it looks like inside. I used another Bugaboo image, Tea Time - Cup of Tea. Now let me show you the dimensions, where to score, and where to cut to create your own cute little teabag holder.

First cut the cardstock you want as your base 9 3/4" x 3 1/4".

Next, score at 3 1/4" and 6 1/2". Draw a "cut" line from the top of  your 6 1/2" score line to approximately 3/4" up from the bottom as shown in the above photo.

Go ahead, don't be afraid, cut that piece off!!!

Now this is the dark gray cardstock for my finished project. Add score-tape as shown (I used 1/8" score-tape). Take off the liner from the tape and fold over along score line. You've now created the pocket for your teabag!

This is what it looks like undecorated. Time to get creative and add your special twist to it. Thanks for stopping by today and checking out my tutorial!!

Hi Linda,
Had to stop by and tell you how cute your Tea bag Holder is. It is also wonderful to have you apart of Bugaboo.
