Sweet Love & Hugs

Happy Wednesday, the first day of school for my youngest. And my oldest has started a new adventure in his life, studying abroad this semester in Sydney, Australia. It's the last Wednesday of the month so we have a twisted challenge for you at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. First up is the sketch, a blast from the past. The added twist is stitching, real or faux.

Our lovely sponsor is Megan from Dilly Beans. She has so many adorable images, be sure and take a moment to check out her store.

Here's my card, using Penny's Heart String. She's such a pretty little lady! Can you believe I've incorporated purple into my project?!!! Yep, I've gone off the deep end!!! I have several goofs on this card too, one of which is covered up by the sentiment. The other is my initial plan was to make a square card, but once I had my papers sewn down, there was no turning back, an A2 it will stay!!!!! Now join us for loads of fun at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2, we'll have you in stitches with our twisted challenge!!

HA! I have SOO done that! I actually ripped a card once trying to move a section that I had sewed. Duh! I like it an A2!

Hope you are feeling better.

It's understandable you've had so much on your mind and of course your son leaving for Australia. I haven't forgotten that phone number to pass onto your son. The big question is how are you feeling at present???
Love your card and those mauve hearts are totally adorable one of my favourite colours and I know you don't like it but it's such a pretty card. Take care keep your chin up your sunglasses on then they can't see the tears and keep smiling before you know it he'll be home for Christmas.
