Today's post is inspired by two challenges over at the OWH blog. First up is casing Jane, the Friday Feature Card Maker who recently passed away. Above is her card that I decided to case. The other challenge is their Midweek Throwdown His & Hers - create a card for him & one for her using the same layout.
Here is my card for him, using a Doodle Pantry image recently released in color called Old Ship. Now I know I used some creative liberty with the case, but my image was a bit smaller and needed some "stuff" to fill up the space.
Here is my "her" card, using a Bugaboo image called AKV - Ballet Dance Trio. The sentiment comes with the image and I used it in place of the ribbon on the original card of Jane's I was casing. Fun cards to make and definitely quick and easy. Enjoy your today.

OH LINDA! Where do I begin?!?
The colors on the first are GORGEOUS and I LOVE that beautiful butterfly.
The second card is 'manly' but not harsh. It is so fresh and light and really wonderfully put together. Love the layout and the waves.
The last could not be any cuter! Having just finished up our last dance competition of the year, I just looked at this one and smiled.
Great work, as always!
Many hugs being sent your way,
Heather
Love all of the cards Linda, very nice!
These cards are fantastic. Really like the flower card and absolutely adore the ship. Great work Linda!
OMG...I can't say which I love since they are each unique within itself. Ok...you know I'm a lover of water, so that will have to be my first pick. Flowers make me happy, but I'm a huge fan and former DT member of Bugaboo and don't remember this one....it's now on my list. PS Love the waves you added on the ship.
Both brilliant cards! Really love these, Jx
Oh my goodness Linda, thes are gorgeous. I love them all. I agree with Heather on every count...soo cute!!!
Hugs, Nancy
What a nice selection/collection of cards - love your ship and the girl dancing is a hoot. Great job.
Oh my gosh, your cards are fabulous! Love the ship, but I have to say that bugaboo image stole my heart.
