I Hate Mornings

I am so not a morning person!!! I love sleeping in!! I am a night owl, so going to bed at 1am is normal for me. This getting up at 6:30 to see the boys off to school simply makes me cranky!! But look what I achieved this early morning, a card for the Sentimental Sundays challenge, Back to School,  that Doodle Pantry is sponsoring. I knew coloring my own image was not happenin' this early in the morning, so I used the color version of School Birdie along with one of the digital papers included. Because it was still fresh in my mind, I used the current Sweet Sketch Wednesday layout as well. Keeping it simple for so early in the morning!!

There's only a few days left to play along with our Doodle Pantry Digital Challenge. Create a project using a DP image and you will receive via email an adorable set absolutely FREE!!!!!

Linda, I know what you mean about mornings. But, something happened to my internal clock, because I now wake up at 4:30 to 5 a.m. every morning. Drives me a little crazy. I love these pre-colored images. They are adorable. This is a fun sketch. Have a wonderful rest of the day and great weekend coming up.

Oh, I'm such a morning person!!!! I'm up at 6:00 ready to go and teach, teach and teach...haha But I burn out about 6:00 pm and then a total panty waste. I then get a little re-vitalization and stay up till about 12:00 and play on my Ipad in bed. My youngest is off to college, but I still get up at 6:00 and start my day...haha I got to get on the stick and get in on the challenge.

Linda,
BONUS! we get a second card from you this week...and this on is a cutie. Love the bright green and yellow and the adorable little image. I am not a big morning fan either. I like to wake up around 8 or 9 but with the kids I get up at 6 and I am not a happy camper in the AM.
Great card!

Linda, lol, so sorry about the early mornings! I am just the opposite, I give out in the evenings and am ready to go in the mornings. Love what you came up with...the greens are gorgeous with your white accents.
Love this week's SSW sketch as well.

Cute card Linda!! Love the bright colors =). So fun!!
Seems like I can sleep on those mornings I can't and wake up early the mornings I don't have to... But I do love hitting the Craft Room early on those days I don't have to work!!
Have a great weekend!!

Your post made me giggle ... sooooo not a morning person myself. Your card is AWESOME, and I love that you owned up to using the pre-colored image (shhh, I do it too sometimes!). It doesn't matter HOW it occurred, your card turned out great. Thanks for joining in the fun this week over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

Hey Linda, I was going to say your colouring is totally amazing in this image then I read a little further, I understand now why having an early morning. What ever the reason your card is really great and I love it to bits and I just adore your wonderful bright colours. I think you need more early mornings by the end of the week you could have a whole set of cards try that next week. LOL Take care it's Friday for you so sleep in, in the weekend.

Your yellow birdie card is fabulous so the early morning card making was certainly not wasted, it appears to have worked out beautifully:O). I too hate mornings but not near as much as when I was working LOL!
