I don't often preorder from the mini catalogs but this set I did. I just love it!! And, like sooooo many of my stamps, I don't use it enough. Could that be because I HAVE soooooo many stamps????? You're right, one can never have too many stamps!!
Of course the main set is Perennial Friendship. The backgrounds are French Script and Crosshatch. After it was finished, I said to myself, "You should have used Linen background as well!" I am a background-aholic, just can't make a card without using one -- or two or three!!
Anyway, back to the card, the colors of cardstock are Bravo burgundy, Always artichoke, and So saffron - another favorite of mine. I watercolored the flowers with Regal rose and artichoke and sponged the edges with Creamy caramel. The main flower image is popped up as well as the oval "Friends." Gotta add the dimension!
This card is one of many for a swap I have signed up for -- Different Kind of Swap. A recipe is given for a specific stamp set then you get to create away. I am always amazed at the different cards I receive when we all start out with the same ingredients.
Thanks for looking!!
