Christmas Wishes??

But summer has just arrived, why a Christmas card??!!! It's never too early to start making Christmas cards! And this one makes use of the sweet Imagine That Digistamp image and sentiment from Marianne's Hamster set. The snowflake paper is from the Merry & Bright digi paper pack, also from Imagine That Digistamp. Now other members of the IT design team have some wonderful inspiration so be sure and check 'em out over at the Creative Playground.

Hello Summer!

Welcome to our latest Clean & Simple challenge over at The Outlawz - make a card of a summer activity. Summer for us means a beach vacation so I couldn't wait to pull out my High Tides set from Stampin' Up. As you can see, I obviously didn't clean my stamp off good enough after using red ink because I ended up with a reddish-gray lighthouse!! Oh well!! Oldie But Goodie Thursday

I so enjoy creating for the Thursday Oldie But Goodie inspiration post over at Catch the Bug. I have collected so many Bugaboo images that I love playing with some that I haven't used in a while. Like this one, Kawaii Kitty Cupcake. Being a mom of two furballs of my own, I'm always drawn to cat images. Yep, you guessed it, I cut this one out with my Scan N Cut!! I love that thing!! You Make Me Smile

Boy a good night sleep would certainly make me smile!!! I'm late with my card but got it made. Our CAS challenge this week at The Outlawz is to use a technique. I went with foiling and heat embossing. The background was created with some deco foil transfer gel and this Winnie and Walter stencil. The sentiment is from the latest My Favorite Things kit, Sketchy Flowers, that is unfortunately sold out. I'm not sure that I'm lovin' this card very much, but I have to get over it and move on. There's more stamping that needs to be done!!! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful today!!
 

Sending Hugs

Well, well, well, would you look at that...I never posted my card for today's Anything Goes challenge over at Catch the Bug!!! Let me tell ya, working all these extra hours has really made me a scatter brain!! Anyway, this card uses a sweet Bugaboo image called Cute Bee Flower. I had cut him out using my Scan N Cut and decided this was a perfect time to put him on a card! I did add some sparkle to his wings and the center of the flower with my wink of stella pen. The sentiment is white heat embossed on black...not sure I like that big black sentiment strip but it ain't comin' off!!! Now I'm off to see what else I've forgotten to do today!!! Giraffe...With Coffee?!!

It's the first Saturday of the month and time for a new link-up challenge at the Creative Playground. Stinkin' Lovable

I'm a big Pittsburgh Penguins hockey fan and am thrilled they are playing in the Stanley Cup for the second straight year!! Let's Go Pens!!! Watching that and working extra hours has really cut into my crafting time!!

 I did get a card made for today's weekly inspiration at the Creative Playground. I made this using the sweet digi set Lil Stinker from Imagine That Digistamp.
