Sweet Summer Wishes

I need the next couple of days to fly by because my hubby and I leave next week for a 4 day trip to Disney World to celebrate our anniversary. Once I talked him into the idea of a trip for 2, I told him I would make all the plans and reservations...if I get to pick the place!!!! Hehehe, sneaky!!

Here's my reminder card for the challenge going on over at the Fresh Brewed Blog -- By the Sea/Summer. I used a Fresh Brewed Designs cutie called Grace Summertime. She really is so adorable and a favorite of mine.

Challenges I'd like to submit my card to include:
The House That Stamps Built - Sketch
Handmade Harbour - Summer Fun
Whimsy Stamps - Summertime
Love to Create - Summer Lovin'

Sweet Black Eyed Susans

Since it's the last Wednesday of the month, it's time for a twisted challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. First of all, use this blast from the past sketch with the twist...polka dots. A lot or a little, doesn't matter, we just want to see some dots.

Our sponsor this week is Pattie's Creations. Be sure and head on over to her store, you'll find lots of fun images there!!!

Speaking of fun, I had just that creating with these beautiful Black Eyed Susans. I think they are beautiful flowers, and the deer just ate mine up!!! Maybe I'll try planting them again and keep my fingers crossed. My dots might be a little more subtle within the designer paper (from the Black Eyed Susan set at Doodle Pantry), but they're there. Have fun with our twisted challenge this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

Aloha!

Hello to you!! I wanted to share a card I made with a newly released set from Imagine That called Hula Girl. Talk about a darling set!!! I used the sketch from The Paper Players - so fun with those three banners. I rarely use coral colors so this was a real treat! A perfect simple card to mail off to a friend just to say "hi."

You can find the outline version of this cutie as a freebie on the Imagine That blog or by liking the Facebook group. And if you'd like the full set including this color version and sentiments, use the coupon code HULA for $1 off! Thanks Kris!!!

Sea You Around

What a day!!! This morning was a little crazy and a whole lot stressful...but it's over with and now I can breathe. I wanted to share a card that makes me happy - yes, I know, it uses purple!!!! The image is from the new release at Doodle Pantry called Carousel Seahorse. I absolutely love the color combination, and I love the chevron digital paper also included in this set. I wanted to make use of some new dies I just got from Technique Tuesday called Flair Maker. Love the banners with the cutouts...I decided to inlay the hearts back in, just in a different color.

Challenges I'd like to submit my card to include:
Melonheadz Friends - Things with wings or tails
The Crazy Challenge - Die cuts and punches
613 Avenue Create - Anything goes / add a sentiment twist
Fairy Tale Challenge - Use a digital stamp

Happy Birthday to You

Having fun with my dies and stamps. And here to share the latest CAS challenge over at The Outlawz. Our theme this week is "Diamonds and Pearls." Actually any shiny sparkly bling will do. I used some sequins, a rhinestone, and a metal dot. My stamps and dies all came from Simon Says Stamp - Hello You, Wide Stripes Background, and Big You Die. Clean and simple and oh so fun to make.

A Merry Little Christmas

Another snowman card...told you I am a huge fan!!! This card is for the progressive challenge over at From the Heart. The stamp set is called Winter Friends and can be purchased HERE. I let the colors of a new holiday paper pack I just got be my guide so gray and green it is. I had to pop in a touch of red with the bird...I love seeing bright red cardinals against the white snow. Quick and easy, just my style.

Merry Christmas!

Eeeek, there's only 152 days left till Christmas!!!!! And now I've got one more card to add to my collection! The moment I saw this set from Imagine That, I knew I had to have it!! After all, I am a HUGE fan of snowmen. This set is called Snow Mice and can be found HERE. I used the color version (but of course!!) and once again, kept it clean simple. Fridays are the weekly inspiration day of the Imagine That design team and guests, so be sure and check out their projects HERE. Have a wonderful weekend.
