I couldn't wait to share with you my exciting news...I was chosen Bugaboo's Biggest Fan for October!!! And they got that right, I am a big fan!!! The challenge starting today over at Catch the Bug is Anything Goes. Well, it's time for Halloween and some sweet spooky cards! Mine makes use of the adorable Halloween Brat Pumpkin image. What a sweetie! My card wasn't originally supposed to look like this but my plans had to change when I realized my first design just wasn't gonna cut it!

Have a wonderful weekend. I'm working extra hours today then will come home exhausted. Looks like a nap is in my afternoon plans!!

The blog hop theme was to make a thank you card based on one of the OWH sketches found HERE. For my card I used the kit from Gina K. Designs called Grateful Heart. I love autumn with its cooler weather and beautiful colors. This card shares all those colors that I adore.

Just Wear Pink

I wanted to share with you a new set released today at Doodle Pantry called Just Wear Pink. Now for today only, IT'S FREE!!!!! Read how you can get yours free HERE on the Doodle Pantry Blog. Pumpkin Challenge

Work is definitely interfering in my card making!!! But I need those extra hours to pay for my addiction! What is a girl to do?!! I'm a day late with this card and sharing with you the month long prize challenge over at the Fresh Brewed Blog. Our theme is pumpkins - either feature a pumpkin on your card or use the colors orange, green and brown. I used a rubber stamp by Fresh Brewed Designs called Spicy Pumpkin Latte. Speaking of pumpkin lattes, I can't believe I haven't had one yet this season...what is up with that?!! Anyway, I kept my card somewhat simple, adding both brads and rhinestones for a bit of embellishment. Now I sure hope you can join us this month at the Fresh Brewed Blog for some pumpkin yumminess.  

Sweet Huge Hugs

Good morning and welcome to another installment for our fabulous Sweet Sketch Wednesday. Yes, I know I'm very late posting. Yesterday was "one of those days," they even got my drink order wrong at Starbucks! It's a day I definitely don't want to repeat ever again, but because I came home late from work and promptly fell asleep on the couch, now I have to play catch up. Here's our wonderful sketch for this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. Sure hope you can play along.

 My name is Krista Smith. I am the artist behind the Etsy shop, Saturated Canary Digis. I began working in the stamping world about a year ago when I was hired to create rubber designs for the sweet Scottish company, Sugar Nellie. They launched my artwork under the name 'Simply Sassy.' I moved into the digital world just this past month (it's been a super busy month, indeed!). And-- I love it!! There is a little more freedom here, as I can create anything that pops into my head:)!  Here's my card, using the sweet image Jelly Bug. I just thought she was adorable, and I love that smiley jelly fish. I'm getting so into using my linen thread and adding a bow held together with a button...couldn't be because the spools are sitting right on my desk could it?!! Anyway, I sure hope you can join us this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.  

Doodle Pantry Release

It's October 1st and that means it's time to show off two cards I've created for the new release at Doodle Pantry. You'll see that it's a large release, featuring some of the sets illustrated by Laurie and sold at Clearly Digi Stamps. There's quite a wonderful array so be sure and grab a cup of coffee and take a look! My first card makes use of the sweet set Stocking Ants. Of course I used the color version (are you surprised?!!) as well as the digital papers from this set. This set is FREE with purchase for a limited time so be sure not to miss out on this deal.

And here is Deer Wishes, previously sold at Clearly Digi Stamps. A color version has been created for this release...so good news for me!!!! I haven't done any sewing on my cards lately so I figured it was time to start up that sewing machine again.

Fall Flower Fairy

Yes, fall is in the air. The nights are cool and fabulous for sleeping. I love cracking open a window and cuddling under a big warm blanket. Today I'm showing off a card I made using one of the newly released digis at Fresh Brewed Designs called Fall Flower Fairy. It's one of three images released this month.
